  1. It seems not for live streaming from what I've read. Although the press release gives another impression. ESS play will only publish the meetings the day after (after midnight). But we'll see. The info isn't very clear regarding the streaming. The issue with Cmore is if the they have geoblock for their own subscription (due to the football, icehockey and etc they also show).
  2. A new TV-deal has been signed between Ess and C more. C more will show all 82 meetings in their Tv channels with one focus meeting each on Tuesday and Thursday. ESS play will remain as an archive, news site and on-demand service. The deal is for 2020-22 seasons. https://www.elitspeedway.com/artikel/j5fxak0p3-21mi1/c-more-gor-unik-storsatsning-pa-speedway-med-start-sasongen-2020
  3. Svemo has a new website but for the time being the old one works better for speedway: http://old.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/
  4. Allsvenskan final leg 1: https://ta.svemo.se/Public/Pages/Competition/DrivingSchedule/CompetitionHeatSchema.aspx?Branch=Speedway&Season=2019&Serie=Allsvenskan&Resultfilter=APPROVED&Columns=FromDateShort,Name,HeatSchema,HeatResult&pagesize=20&CompetitionId=10863
  5. If Aspgren had qualified would you have considered him to be better then Fricke or Zagar or Iversen or Michelsen? Would you consider Craig Cook a better rider then Piotr Pawlicki?. Cook finished 4th in GPC last year while Pawlicki finished 6th? And how do you determine who the 15 best in the world are?
  6. Teams for Tuesday: http://www.speedwaynyheter.se/laguppstallningar-semifinal-3/?fbclid=IwAR0PYOekF8xEkgbZJhxxvbLDXtYRzVkRpR01GtFb3cfOhRIqkDUBhdPuboU
  7. I think it might have been (not sure) Magnus Zetterström who said something like, when asked about retirement, that if you start thinking about retiring then you have already retired mentally, that one starts loosing/shifting focus to the retirement.
  8. Why wasn't Lindbäck excluded? Result shows 0 but should be X as 0 is worth more than X.
  9. Smederna books a place in the semi finals. It also looks like Indianerna will miss out.
  10. Some of his merits: 7x Individual Swedish champion, 5x Swedish team champion, 9 grand prix wins, 3x Speedway world cup gold medals.
  11. IMO nothing else is to expect. To be continuously successful over one or several GP-seasons just talent isn't enough. It also requires plenty of experience regarding both the actual racing (setups, tougher opposition) as well as logistics and mental preparations (different atmosphere, more pressure and etc). Therefore it takes time to become established. I don't think it's fair on the young guns to be dismissed after just one season. As for Lebedevs, his 2017 was really great but he then had a really tough 2018. However he seems to be on the rise again and have done a couple really good meetings the past few weeks.
  12. Highlights Smederna - Lejonen https://www.elitspeedway.com/gamecenter/qWa-76L4t9W1a/articles/post
  13. IMO Lebedevs, MJJ and Pawlicki + one more for Smederna for the nominations but who? Lindgren, Chugnov or Miedzinski?
  14. Heat 12 was the first time Hampel was replaced by a tac sub at Smederna's track.
  15. Mjj brain freeze. He just overtook kk on the outside and then goes for the inside and gets passed.
  16. A long and successful career, not sure he gets much rest though. I'd say there is some pressure on him to get involved with Rospiggarna since he is from Hallstavik.
  17. First heat was delayed due to a medical issue with a spectator. @Dave Goddard
  18. I can also guarantee that we won't have a rain off tonight. Still really warm, around 20-25 C maybe. Track has been watered plenty but dries up fairly quickly.
