  1. I agree with SS and SCB to some extent, some good races but also many from-the-gate-races.
  2. The difference between Holder , Zagar and Iversen vs. Lebedevs & Milik is that he latter two probably wouldn't do better the first season but that they have plenty of room for improvement. As for Zagar it isn't just two good gp:s but he have been very good in the Swedish "play offs" as well. Apparently he have found something that works for him. His Elitserien "play offs" (don't like word for speedway's post season cup) scores: Smederna - Dackarna 5 (1 0 2 2) (vs. Lindgren, Dudek, Janowski) Dackarna - Smederna 15 (3 3 3 3 3) (vs. Lindgren, Dudek, Janowski) Masarna - Smederna 17 (3 3 2 3 3 3) (vs. Woffinde, Lindbäck, Sundström, Pz Pawlicki) Smederna - Masarna 16 (3 3 1 3 3 3) (vs. Woffinde, Lindbäck, Sundström, Pz Pawlicki) + two straight GP wins.
  3. Indianerna announced that they have "signed" Simon Gustafsson as head of marketing/sponsor sales.
  4. I know of those but it would be still another 200SEK in travel costs (direct bus) so it would be almost 300 SEK (27 GBP).
  5. I was considering going but I am a student and I've spent almost £60 the past couple of weeks on seeing Smederna during their post season success (they've reached the finals) and there is one more meeting remaining (the final) so I kinda spend the money on that instead of the GP.
  6. Very unlikely. Both because Smederna cannot afford it and because the car park capacity is too small. There is a gravel parking on the backside of the stadium and there is only a small gravel road leading to it. There is no where for buses to park and etc. Allot of work would be need to bring the road/parking infrastructure up the required level. The actual stadium itself has a very high standard though.
  7. Jonsson got a hit over the throat and had breathing problems.. He waa taken to hospital but I don't have more info then that at the moment.
  8. I will probably not be going but it also depends on Tuesday's result. It's almost 4 hours by car and probably 4,5 hours by bus. Vetlanda's track doesn't really provide any good speedway either so....
  9. ...and Västervik won the Allsvenskan final. I would assume that it will be Smederna - Vetlanda on Tuesday and Vetlanda - Smederna on Wednesday but nothing have been confirmed yet.
  10. Zengota and Hjelmland. I forgot to mention that I had updated the first post.
  11. As for SWC. Västervik have been asked but replied that they though that they couldn't handle a RO/Final and they were also not happy about the financial offer (or something like that). Målilla MK had the same opinion about the financial agreement offer from BSI/FIM.
  12. Fjelsted takes the title most likely. After 22 heats. Slangerup 37p Region Varde 40p Fjelsted 41p Holsted 13p Fjelsted are 2017 Danish champions.
  13. After 20 heats. Red Slangerup 36p Blue Region Varde 34p White Fjelsted 37p Yellow Holsted 13p Deffo blue's fault. I think Fjelsted almost have secured the title now. Metal Speedway League I heat 20 kører Mikkel Michelsen, Mads Korneliussen, Anders Thomsen og Jonas Jeppesen. Metal Speedway League I heat 21 er det Michael Jepsen Jensen, Hans Andersen, Frederik Jakobsen og Sam Jensen. Metal Speedway League I heat 22 kører Kenneth Hansen, Mikkel Bech, Peter Kildemand og Bjarne Pedersen.
  14. Current results: https://www.facebook.com/metalspeedwayleague/photos/p.1956740267685845/1956740267685845/?type=3&theater After 16 heats. Red Slangerup 28p Blue Region Varde 27p White Fjelsted 28p Yellow Holsted 13p
  15. It seems that if they can't get it right by tomorrow they have to resort to a lottery draw to decide the winner.
  16. Piotr "Pepe" Protasiewicz have signed a two year contract with Indianerna. Andreas Jonsson and Jacob Thorssell stays with Rospiggarna.
  17. Those riders who are scheduled to ride in both the Allsvenskan final and the postponed semi final have to ride in Allsvenskan. There was a suggestion to move the Allsvenskan final to next week but the federation rejected that. Imo moving the Allsvenskan final won't solve anything. If any of the Elitserien finals have to be postponed it will clash with the Allsvenskan final anyway. http://www.vt.se/sport/speedway/vi-har-varit-oslagbara-om4820691.aspx
  18. Postponed again, there will be a new attempt tomorrow at 19.00. The second leg of the Allsvenskan final is also supposed to be held at the same time and several riders are scheduled to ride in both. I don't know how they have planned to solve it.
