GP Predictions Round 4 - CARDIFF
Ozyace replied to Lioness's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
1) R. Sullivan 2) J. Crump 3) TRick 4) L. Adams -
The good news for you Timbo is the new track is planned to be adjacent to the Wanneroo Junior Motocross track (subject to Shire approval). Just 10 minutes up the road from you if you are still living in Joondalup. As a matter of intrest i went passed Bibra the other day on my way back from Mandurah and and everything has gone lights, fences, stands the whole lot it was a bit sad really. BTW did catch the SGP on Fox last Saturday? If not i'll lend you the tape after Davey Cheshire has finished with it.

Cheers everybody, Gillman and Mildura for me at least. Might have to hone up my waterskiing skills for Mildura though.

GP Predictions Round 2 - Prague
Ozyace replied to Lioness's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
P. Protasiewicz at 80/1 He only dropped one point, beaten by Crumpy in the Swedish league on Tuesdy night. He may well be the darkest of horses. Ryan at 9/1 is also good value me thinks. -

Well done to 'The Book' and Crumpy, i hope this year we (Aussie's) finally get another world champ. -
Anyone in Oz know where i can....
Ozyace replied to Ozyace's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Thanks Lunchy, i knew i could rely on you. I think i might hold off on putting some Mickey Rooneys on Ryan at the moment for the first G.P. but to become World Champ he has got to be a chance. I with you i will defianatley have a crayfish on Leigh to win the first G.P. BTW mate i will be having a drive in a sprintcar this weekend at the Quit Motoplex, think i'd better pack an extra pair of jocks. -

Italy team championship round 2 Lonigo
Ozyace replied to Zetters's topic in International World of Speedway
Cheers jeffster, Lonigo certainly look to have a strong team and nice work by Johno. -
Stats, I notice there is no teams from W.A. which is a shame and also absent from the list is Scott Christopher and Trent Koppe. I understand the WA pairings not wanting to go. Do know why the Christopher/Koppe pairing won't be there.
-
Did NatO sound sober? We/he certainly had a bender Sunday night/Monday morning.
-
I was in the Orange KTM shirt, sitting next to Bryn with a Jim Beam & Coke in my hand.
-
I think it will be: Ryan Sullivan Jason Crump Tony Rickardsson Nicki P Scotty Nicholls I hope it will be: Leigh Adams Jason Crump Ryan Sullivan Scotty Nicholls I may be biased, but i think that Sully is definiatley up for it this year.

Boy am i glad that weekend is over - Lots of Cold beer, good company and a win for Team GoBNoB what more can you want, good to catch up with Frank Smart again also. The racing was superb both nights with the young pairing of Scott Christopher / Trent Koppe being a bit unlucky, but i'm sure they will be the future of the sport for many years to come, he looks like a filmstar, defianatley not in the mould of your normal sidecar rider. It will be interesting what happens in the next couple of weeks in regards to Bibra Lake Speedway as apparently the developers who are closing Bibra down were there and with that amount of fans voting with there feet, hopefully they will realise what a tragedy it will be if they close the track. Well done to Bibra Lake Speedway / TQ Car Club on a superb effort. Congratulations to Glenn and Nathan - thanks for the memories guys, party on Might catch you on the 20th March aussiegal.

Australian Sidecar Championship Lineup
Ozyace replied to Stats's topic in International World of Speedway
A few days to go till the big one at Bibra Lake, and as we here are starved of decent speedway this one should be top drawer albeit sidecars. Any other forum members from Perth going to this one? Timbo, aussiegal? There is a meeting at Bibra planned for the 20th March it will be the last one. I don't know any details of the programme at this time, however Stats if you know a bit more, can you please keep us updated. Many thanks. -
Nice one Andy - anyone know who the fella is in the black on the right hand side.
-
Ah yes....down the back straight under the stand in front of the bar one presume's Looking forward to it

Addy, North West of U.K. would mean somewhere in Scotland, somewhere like Fort William and i have no intention of going there, the furtherest North West i'll be going will be to Armadale to see Rooboy (cor blimey charlie). Have no fear i'll be seeing you at Kirky Lane so you can add an O to your list Promises, Promises.
-
aussiegal I was going to include Ellenbrook in my last post, however the track surface would have to get a complete overhaul, which i don't think will ever happen. The shape of the track itself is not a problem and i'm sure there would be plenty of good racing. In answer to your question they race Speedcars, TQ (Formula 500's, Quarter Midgets), Sedans & 360 Sprintcars. There might be some new developments about to come to light re: a track at the junior Mx club, i'll keep you posted.
