I have the picture feed from Rospiggarna, and I believe it's just been announced at the track that both NKI and Patryk Dudek are on rider replacement.

I for one would appreciate it if someone can confirm that for definite prior to the start, the SVEMO website always still shows the rider in place and the first I know they're not there is when someone different comes out in place of them for their first ride...

I was quoting what I was being told from trackside by the host broadcaster.

It seems the more I promote a meeting on social media, the less chance there is of it happening. And to cap it all I nearly had a car accident while driving home from the studio!

Slightly unusual question - my mum has recently been watching reruns of Tales of the Unexpected on TV, and in the episode entitled "William and Mary" (Series 1 Episode 3) there is a scene where a speedway heat is showing on a TV set in the background. Does anyone know which track is featured in the footage?

As I've said on social media, I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who watched along and stuck with me through what's been a tough and really confusing season, and I'm sorry my commentary wasn't much good for a lot of it. I am pretty certain about half of the Polish meetings were postponed and rearranged for various oddball reasons which led to a somewhat farcical season at times, and that plus not being at trackside and having only limited information (particularly from Sweden) made for a trying experience. Thanks to all who have offered words of encouragement and have messaged in during broadcasts, and thanks to everyone who tuned in at any time. Congratulations to Unia Leszno and Masarna on their league wins.

That bl**dy bonus point rule has caught me out every single time this season! And I'm now annoyed cos they didn't bother sticking around to film the trophy presentation, which would have been nice!

I've been watching speedway since I was born in 1986 and have seen probably thousands of heats since then, and have been commentating on the sport since 2007. That ninth heat tonight was the best heat I have ever seen anywhere.
