Tom as I understand Hampel has a broken collarbone and will be out for at least 2 to 3 weeks. Do you think Joonas will be in his place? On speedwaygp.com, it says Kylmakorpi was also injured and will be out for between 2-4 weeks so doubt he will be taking Hampel's place. Hope we hear official news on the line-up soon! Does anybody on here know what is is the nearest station to Parken stadium, either train station or on the metro/underground? Thanks

Well I have previously said on a topic after the Peterboro v Ipswich thread that Hans in my opinion is a dirty rider and last night has just confirmed it. Yes it was a hard race with Holta but you could see Hans was going to take him off, it was just a case of when not if. I think he is very immature as a rider and now he's in the GP's and is actually a good rider, he should take a long hard look at himself and calm himself down before he really hurts somebody. Hans makes Nicki look like a pussycat

Well I thoroughly enjoyed my day in Cardiff. Any idea on what the actual attendance was as I didnt hear it announced anywhere? I thought the atmosphere was great, helped having 5 Brits who all done a good job. Thought they played good music to get the crowd going at the beginning and loved the riders entrance at the beginning It was the first GP I have been at where the riders done an autograph session and I spoke to the man in charge of it all and asked who was expected to attend and he listed Nicholls, Loram, Richardson, Pedersen, Rickardsson & Crump. However, when the riders turned up to meet the fans before-hand Scotty and Mark weren't there and lots of people asked this man in charge why they hadn't come and he said they had thought better of it! I personally think thats extremely rude when its your home GP when you have thousands of fans come to cheer you on, and they can't even spare 15mins to meet their loyal public Fair play to Sullivan who turned up instead and also to Richardson who was the only Brit who kept his word, glad he was the one that had the best performance overall of the brits. Thought Hans was out of order in the race with Holta, you could see it coming though and he is DEFINITELY the most dangerous rider in the GP. Thought Floppy was just incredible, so pleased for him and hope we see him in another gp again soon. Very happy for Rico to make the final and finish on the rostrum, well deserved and good on Hancock for the win- especially since I had bet on him Good to see another different winner of each round this season, the championship is so close now! Roll on Denmark here I come

Yes earlier in the week some rain was forecast for Cardiff tomorrow but now it looks as if it will be part cloudy. I hope it is a bit warmer than the suggested 19 degrees and that the sun is out, I am not going to be dressed for a rainy day Bring the good weather forward for tomorrow!

Well I'm well surprised that Tony Hadley is performing. He is one of my Mum's faves and will certainly appeal to some of the "older generation" but some of his songs are cool and no doubt I will be singing along! Javine is ok too, she is quite poppy so she might get the crowd into it, well a little maybe 1 day left till Cardiff!

Do you know if there are any Nicki Pedersen merchandise for sale as I want a few bits before I go to Denmark?

Hi Rico, Thanks for that, think 7 hours is a bit too much! But I see Poznan is around 2 hours from Bygoszcz which is much better, only thing is we would have to come back Monday instead of Sunday so accommodation is a bit more expensive. I've just got to see if I can get my way on this, had some bad luck before Are their regualr trains/buses from Poznan to Bydgoszcz do you know? Thanks

Hi everyone, I have recently heard that Luton airport are now running flights to Poland from as little as £30.98 return! It flys you to Katowice, how far away is that from Bydgoszcz? Its Wizzair who are doing the new flights. I have always wanted to go to Bydgoszcz more than any other GP, can anyone shed any light on how far away it is from Bydgoszcz and whether there are buses/trains running regularly? Thanks

Well I didnt think my first comment would have to be to tell others to lay Nicki of his personal habits!! What a silly thing to complain about. I admit its not pleasant to watch but its not Nicki's fault, a camerman chooses to film him then and then Sky decide to air it worldwide, I'm sure Nicki would rather be discussed for more positive or EVEN negative reasons to do with his racing that his personal hygiene!!! What a complete joke, I know most people on here hate him but theres no need to go overboard and start talking about how dosgusting, dirty and spotty he is Also, love the comments from Poole fans already slating Sullivan's performance I bet on Sully so I was disappointed he didnt do better but its only 1 GP. Look at the starts to GP seasons Crump has had previously and even though Nicki was Champ, he didnt start off amazingly, he just rode consistently. Its very harsh to start criticising him when he has rode in lesser meetings that the others around him, give him a chance and wait and see. I would have thought for most Poole fans, top of your list would be for Sully to perform well for the Pirates and then in the GP- just wait and see before you start condoning him. I thought Tony Steele was the biggest joke out there, he made a mockery of the GP and speedway in general. I was sitting with my partner who isnt really into speedway but tries for my sake and even he couldnt believe the decisions Steele made. It was blindingly obvious to someone who isnt THAT into speedway so a paid professional should make the right decisions. Tony should have been excluded twice, the ref bottled it under pressure from the Swedish crowd and it wasnt on. Tony was a lucky man and I hope we dont see repeats of bottling decisons from refs in future GP's I thought the tapes fiasco was a joke too. They had plenty of chances to sort it out but they didnt seem too bothered. It was unfair on the riders starting on the inside and it should have been treated more seriously. Also, how bad was Gate 2 out there?! I was impressed with TRicks win from Gate 2 but it was a dreadful gate Other than that, I didnt think the crowd looked majorly big but hard to tell really. Some races were good, thought Nicki, Gollob, Crump, Adams and Brhel made some exceptional passes through the night. Well done to Adams, he had been performing well and great pass on Crump, who I was surprised didnt put up more fight in the final. Roll on Prague! I also apologise that my message isnt very cheery, lots to moan about unfortunately!

I have Copenhagen and Gotheburg and Cardiff booked, so I can't wait! I have given up on my boyfriend going abroad for speedway so turned to my family and friends! I will go to Wroclaw even if i go alone! I am very determined Oh yes, we have a trophy coming our way, lets hope we do it at Tottenham! I was at the Arsenal v Leeds game last week for the 5-0 victory

Hello, As I'm going to my first GP's abroad this year, just wondered which GP's you can or IF you can watch practice? If so, can you get in for free etc? Also, what are you chances of getting to speak to the riders before or after a GP? As I would love a few photos whilst I'm at the GP's but a bit doubtful that I will see anybody? Are the pits completely closed off at all the venues? I know Cardiff is a bit hard to get near anybody unless you happen to see them around the shops in the day!! Any advice guys?! Particularly on Copenhagen and Gothenburg. Thanks

Thanks again Nicks Notes! That is a big help! I am also hoping to book up going to Gothenburg from using Ryan air. As I have had NO experience booking with Ryanair, when it currently says booking period till end of June, does that mean until June prices are £5.99? Can I still book up for August for Gothenburg now and accept the prices will be slightly more? Also, am I better off waiting for a cheaper deal nearer the time to Gothenburg or should I book now?Is the airport in Gothenburg near the speedway? Sorry, have so many questions!!! Thanks
