  1. 30 days to go Found 3 great races of last years action at Foxhall for those with withdrawal symptoms like me
  2. Interestingly, Heeps and Tungate's averages on those profiles are still TBC.
  3. We had 3 last year. This year the best possible septet was put together by the promotion that just happened to not include a British rider. They're not going to put one in there just for the sake of having a British rider if he's not the best option
  4. I think the injury was enough to take a point off his average. When the injury happened at Rye, he was starting to ride very well after an average start and was banging in double figures. The injury really was awful and the pics he showed on his return made you feel physically sick. When he came back he was very very tentative and it took him a lot longer to recover than Chris Louis admitted he hoped. But slowly but surely he again began to improve at the tail end of the season. I don't think an average of at least 7 for Morten Risager is over ambitious. The more you look at our side, the more impressive it looks. You can see EVERY rider chipping in with steady scores that more often than not will total 45+. There really isn't a duffer in there is there?
  5. And Tungate has one last boost for the Witches public. While in England last year, he took to the track at many Elite and Premier League circuits, but knows which one he preferred most. “I’m not just saying this, but I seriously did enjoy the Ipswich track more than any that I rode while I was here,” Tungate added We also know Dakota North loves the place too so hopefully we'll be really strong at Foxhall and make the place a fortress. It would be nice to go through the season unbeaten at home for once and i genuinely thought we would do that last season. Don't think anyone will relish coming to Foxhall this season and i can't wait to get going and see this team in action. My hopes are high for a successful season.
  6. Is it me or does this winter and close season really seem to be dragging this year? I'm itching to see what this team can do!
  7. So even if he'd have won which is no guarantee, he would have finished joint top on 13 points. And this a PL riders champion and heatleader. All immaterial of course where next season's PL is concerned as its already been pointed out that the Aussie championships is no guarantee of form in the PL. There is little doubt though, that Ipswich have signed a little gem with lots of potential along with Cameron Heeps.
  8. I don't think there's a doubt its these two fully fledged Witches reserves that people are looking forward to seeing the most. I can't see a potentially more exciting reserve pairing in the league than these two. Roll on March.
  9. I know what you mean thats why i deleted the post. What on earth is going on with these font sizes
  10. May be helpful? http://www.buryfreep...e_joy_1_2805129
  11. He was number 1 for the majority of 2008 as well as 2009 i believe. Think you're reading far too much in the riding positions Baldyman. He's without doubt been one of the best riders in the Premier league in the season's prior to this year. Sometimes in the past an out and out number 1 could ride at 3 or 5 and many clubs used to use their top man in positions other than number 1.
  12. Another tweet from North that he'll have news tomorrow so if it's true the Witches line up will be revealed tomorrow, it must be him. Delighted if that's the case.
  13. Ok thanks. Shame as it would make it a little more tempting to me if it could be passed to a relative for the odd meeting i'm sure to miss.
  14. On the season tickets, i take it there's no photo's on them this year if you can buy them online? Does that mean you can pass it to a friend or relative if you can't make a meeting or two?
  15. My suspicions have prove correct, the exciting news is not team related but a continuation with "sackers" as main team sponsor. With reference to the team, all it says is Louis is hoping to announce it shortly. Admission prices go up to £15.50 for adults and 12.50 for concessions, season tickets revert back to a one season ticket type that covers all meetings except play offs, testimonials and BSPA events, priced £295 adults £230 concessions until December 31st and then £325 adults £250 concessions and £70 juniors. You can also pay online this year.
  16. I know what's all that about? Used to get the early edition around half 12 lunchtime and then the later edition around 4 o clock!! Maybe a name change is due and remove the Evening bit and just call it the Ipswich Star! Not a problem Roland i'll post it up here around half 7 in the morning
  17. More than likely is the team Badge, but the tweet doesn't say exciting team news so we'll see
  18. Wonder if its team related or possibly a new sponsor/continuation with Sackers? I leave for work at 7 in the morning so will pick a copy up and post the news on here
  19. This is always a good website that gives individual riders' scores for every rider you can think ofhttp://speedwayresults.com/index.php
  20. Its Saturday according to your website. Don't think your promotion would be too happy if North revealed on Friday he had signed for Edinburgh, the day before their big announcements! As for Schramm, with all due respect to him, i don't think he fits in with Chris Louis' comments that they will be announcing some "exciting team news" this week. As Lovey said, Chris Louis is determined to add to the Ipswich asset base/retained list, so perhaps we could see a newcomer to this league who would become another asset? If its not North or Morris, no other established PL rider really fits the bill.
  21. Dakota North has just tweeted " Friday will let you know where i am for 2012". Does that tie in with the supposed revealing of our side "by middle of next week"? Not so sure now. If it isn't him and Morris is out of the picture, then i really can't see who else fits the bill if as expected Poole, Risager and Tresarrieu return.
  22. Doolan suffered mechanical gremlins most of the season but seemed much more like his old self during the closing couple of months which bodes well. He's also according to Pete Simmons, invested in two brand new machines so hopefully we'll see a much better season from the captain.
