What the hell did people expect? It's a cops and robbers TV show that happened to have a tiny bit of speedway in it. To Joe public it didn't matter a jot whether it was correct in every sense . Honestly speedway fans are among the most pedantic out there. Who cares for details, it was speedway being shown on the beeb. I was there with Brandon for the filming and have to say it was great fun all day. Seeing what goes into 2 minutes of TV is mindbogling. A lot of effort for that short clip. Well done bbc I say

They may have had the kamikaze kids years ago but this lot is more like the eastbourne wrecking crew. Teams are getting torn apart this year. Even bob dugard was letting loose with the air horns on his tractor. And the best part is the fact that we don't seem to have any great gaters. Just a team of racers that hate losing. A far cry from the stale old elite league. Already had more great races this year than the past 3 put together

You've ridden a 250 and know they don't really get you in trouble, a 500 on the other hand is a different beast when it hits the dirt. Genuinely don't believe Tom has the core strength yet.
