  1. Good effort from all the lads, much improved. Well done the Islanders
  2. More than a supporter of the Islanders mate. So more than qualified to comment thanks.
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but averages are from program rides so taking 7 rides makes no difference to them.
  4. Auty or Roynon, IMO, should have been in from the start. Can't see the point of blindly trudging on with has beens and never will be's. As someone said earlier, might as well let all the youngsters have a run out.
  5. Is Nichols fit enough that if he has a big off in his first ride he could continue? Likewise Tai. Kennett on stand by, well he's not exactly pulling up trees. Sorry mate but I don't share your optimism.
  6. P'ing down in Sussex at mo, with loads of rain forecast . Going to be lucky to get this one on I fear
  7. Well done Ben Reade, bloody woefull from Islanders
  8. I think your being very generous, if not optimistic about the race off
  9. The promotion for this meeting has been Shiite , can't see many coming but hope I'm wrong.
  10. The realism is that he really isn't good enough , it's not a case of looking forward to watching him fail. Nothing would please me more than Chris winning GP's . But let's face it Cardiff 07 was a flash in the pan. I am gutted that GB has no true world class riders at the moment but that's the truth of it.
  11. Don't really mind if there's no Brit in the GP's next year. Harris is far from good enough. I look forward to seeing some of the young riders make it in a couple of years maybe, Craig Cook, Ritchie Worrall, Tom Perry etc. as I said maybe!
  12. Well done to young Tom on his win, I'm glad his mechanical gremlins seem to have disappeared from last year. This young man is seriously talented and has got what it takes.
  13. Racing in the under 15's didn't didn't do Brandon Freemantle much good . 250 champ 09, 500 champ 2010 ( losing 2 heats and 1 final all year) and struggled in the NL last year. Fair play to Robert and his family, if they can afford to race in Germany then why not. They should know whether Robert is ready trace against men or not. But that said rules are rules in this country and should not be bent to suit 1 person .
  14. Well done the Islanders! And well done Danny Warwick, surely he will go to 1 now . Better late than never Gazza!
  15. Hughes should still do well but shame its not Howarth, still expect a 10 to 12 point win.
  16. Can only see a big win for the Islanders here. Howarth is on fire for workington at the moment. Marc should score big and never right off the secret stig ( gazza cottham) the rest of the team have already proved they mean business this year.
  17. Pitbike motors, stomp, lifan etc. you get them of ebay just make your own plates and they fit into standard chassis or you can shrink a frame to suit. I helped Martin Dugard build 10 bikes a few years back. We used them at Arlington. We tried various engines and found that some were better than others. The good thing is that when the lads step up you just put the standard engine plates back in and use 250, 500 whatever.
  18. Neil, I was reffering to the USA set up rather than doing it here.
