  1. Not disputing you just didn`t need to put your point accross like I`m an idiot. Sorry but sarcastic smartarses get right up my nose
  2. no need to be sarcastic, i was making a comment that this mess affects the kids just starting out and struggling to get sponsors to help them run. not many parents can afford to finance it alone, so getting a few quid from people to help is of major importance to us. if we can`t tell prospective sponsors who the lads are going to be riding for if at all then it has serious consequences on gaining sponsorship.
  3. its not about the supporters having no patience more about riders not knowing whats happening then having no time to sort sponsors and equipment etc.
  4. don`t think there are any worries about young mr owen going down the wrong path, he and his family are some of the most genuine people i`ve met. very well done to marc last night, he is surely in for glittering career in the sport. please get in contact with gordon with any offers of help with bananas and deisel
  5. best wishes to both the lads, hope you are both back soon. Andrew did very well indeed to miss Cameron, a horrible crash to start the campaign. get well soon from Rich, Christine, Brandon and Emily
  6. it was the second heat ,the 250`s, they were due to have 2 heats each class. the reason was time was tight for the entertainment. I know this for a fact as I was involved with the lads.
  7. From the conversation I had with Peter Oakes, there will be no `stars of tomorrow` at cardiff this year. bet there will be in Denmark and other gp`s. Supose we will have to suffer the dismal shiite that we had last year, the reason the kids races were cut short. Once again the powers to be have kicked our future stars in the goolies...only in britian, any thoughts?
  8. Any one got any ideas which tracks will be hosting the under 15`s this year? or any information at all.
  9. well done to Ashley and Brandon, can`t believe the coffers at the bspa or scb are that empty that they have to share the trophy instead of getting one each. Sums up all thats wrong with the sport really, can`t see it being done like that anywhere else.
  10. well done Brandon, the heat with Nathan was great. Also well done to Nathan.
  11. fantastic day, well done Brandon shame about the exclusion in the final
  12. Eastbourne every saturday at 1pm, loads of bikes of all sizes to hire
  13. Yeah you`ll do ok Steve just relax and bend that leg See you at Rye mate
  14. Thanks Bob for correcting that, I will do my best to be nice about Poole from now on
  15. With regards to the Bspa`s handling of this event I would like to add that we ( Brandon Freemantle/Dad) were contacted in the first week of august by the lady at the SCB and asked if we wanted to take part. We said yes and were told that we didn`t have to do anything else other than turn up. So it was with some panic that I saw the line up last week and Brandon wasn`t in it. After two days of phoning the SCB I was phoned back and told there had been an error and we did have a place. When we arrived at Weymouth nobody knew about this, luckily it was not a problem to the guys at Weymouth and they sorted the situation out. Imagine the lads disapointment had we not got a ride, it was a shame enough that he didn`t have his name in the program for his first event . I would like to add that all the people at Weymouth were really good to us and made all the kids feel very welcome, A really big thanks goes to # Name Removed # who was great with the lads and made them all feel special to wear the Lions race jackets. Can`t wait for Buxton
  16. Not a bad idea, do you also think it may be a good idea to put an age cap on riding a 250 ?
