  1. Emil can win as many secs as he likes but without a wc against he's name he won't be remembered as a great
  2. Speedway should be advertised as a nasty dangerous sport with danger and thrills paramount.not a friendly happy product .those days have long gone
  3. obviously im a fan of greg but imagine if this had been the other way round. I reckon nicki would have got a 3 month ban!!!!!!!
  4. I know there will be a logical answer to this but why didn't they just build the houses where the new stadium is going and then leave the track as it is and just knock the stadium down around it and build a new stadium around the old track because swindons track is generally ok! I realise I'm proberly being thick but seems simpler to me
  5. Hancock had gate 3 twice, the reason he didn't get through.swings and roundabouts I suppose
  6. I reckon muller would have had a very slight chance the pole however no chance.then again isn't that why the one offs added excitement.however I prefer the gps
  7. No chance of us catching them, well deserved brummies
  8. For all the hatred aimed at Poole surely all teams should aspire to be like them.except the dodgy bits of course.sorry couldn't resist the last bit
  9. Speedway is so outdated but when you think about it,why.4 riders going around on powerful motorbikes with no brakes.it should be the most dangerous and exciting of sports.that's the way it should be marketed.not as a Cosy family sport
  10. Just had interview for a job and when asked about hobbies I said speedway and he said that used to be really popular what happened? I just said we avnt got time to go into it!
  11. I love your optimism ! Looking forward to your comments after the meeting!
  12. 2meetings at Coventry on one day,I'd pack supper as well Gemini!
  13. Went to this meeting 3 or 4 years ago and it was rubbish but the line up looks a cracker this year. Very tempted
  14. did the problems with Sam start after the Peterborough incident at the showgound. I was right in line with this and at the time thought Sam knocked David off deliberately or at the least it was a very hard move
  15. always thought david was a bit like simon stead and a few other brits I suppose in that he never reached hes full potential.when I used to go to monmore regular I remember a few years when he looked like he would move to the next level. saw him get knocked off at Peterborough by sam in the late 2000s when I think he broke an ankle.never seemed the same after that.all the best in retirement and a sensible decision
  16. I don't get the anti ward comments about getting a wildcard, he got banned till a certain date which means he couldn't ride in the qualifiers so that's fair enough, however when it's time to name the wildcards he won't be banned so surely he's entitled to be picked. If the ban had included not being allowed to participate in the 2016gps then fair enough but it didn't. At this minute he's not banned so all rules should be the same for all riders. Im no fan of his behaviour and maybe the ban should have been till the end of this season but it isn't so he's done his time
  17. Have to agree with Sidney I'm afraid twk, I reckon wards served his time and should get a wild card next year. If he gets treated differently to other riders that's because he is different to other riders. I'm talking the good points here ie on a bike. As you often quote twk we will have to have different opinions on this one but still respect those opinions
  18. Hey leave our Nige alone, not brilliant racing but not to bad. I reckon the meeting could go either way
  19. Naughty alex2000.what I didn't get was the all 4 back for heat 2.cheering at a fallen rider is out of order whatever the circumstances and whoever it is
