  1. Let's wait till someone gets seriously injured or worse then we will learn by our mistakes and call meetings off even if tv is there.muppets!!! I really despair with this sport at times. How can you possibly race in these conditions
  2. If it's delayed for a sun break that's me finished with speedway.lol
  3. just look at the teams racing tonight. guests and r/r everywhere. id love to start travelling around to different tracks like I did in the past but all enthusiasm is being knocked out of me. ive even started missing some of our away meetings .sunday im off up the pub for a birthday drink instead of buxton. I even missed a home fixture the other week to go to the theatre instead. and tbh our promotion still try to do a cracking job. id love to go to monmore on Mondays but 18 pound to watch select teams is not for me
  4. Gonna sky + this one and watch it after. Means I will only waste about 30minutes of my life!
  5. Strange that teams ride once a week and we never know what state there going to be in.me on the other hand go up the pub once a week and I always know the state I'm going to be in!!!!!!!!
  6. I'm up for it as long as I don't have to go to the gp
  7. On Wednesday I went to the theatre rather than the speedway at perry Barr.part of this was because I knew the show at the theatre would start at 7.30 and would have a good chance of being good value.guess what , it was. Then perry Barr!!!!also , I get speedway as to charge what it does because bikes can be expensive but unfortunately the cost doesn't match the value we get.I really don't want to get bored with speedway but I am because I can get better value elsewhere even by going out on my own bike and enjoy it more
  8. I watched Warsaw sober and was totally bored.I've watched this one after a bottle of wine and am totally bored.I'm starting to give up on this.reading a book or watching paint dry for me next week
  9. redcar tonight by the sounds of it
  10. This could get loads of replies
  11. Not brilliant eh, I couldn't have a drink tonight because I'm on the road early in the morning. Maybe it's the drink I missed rather than decent racing!!!!!!
  12. Just watched the gp again and while the track wasn't great it was by no means anywhere near as bad as Cardiff most years. A few ruts here and there but not as bad as I thought it was watching it on the night. I repeat what others have said this wouldn't have been called off if the hadn't have been a problem with the starting gate. Also the ref was worse than I remember as well
  13. Exactly, it's not always a home rider who gets a home gp. Mainly but not always
  14. Although the track wasn't great we have seen worse it's obvious the riders had had enough of officials incompetence.however the riders should never have the final say on getting a meeting cancelled. Although it would have been a farce should the meeting have carried on and whichever riders didn't want to carry on then so be it. If Harris wanted to take his last rides should he have been allowed to?
  15. Well I'm going to disagree unusually with twk and others. We know he's a prat but once the bans been served he should be treated like any other rider. So if he's the best for a wild card he should get it. I'm prepared to be shot down. Lol
  16. think most agree the draft system is a good idea but the youngsters should be guaranteed places in the pl not the el
  17. sounds a good un. can anyone put this on you tube with a link. not even sure if that's possible
  18. when the world started to change sport had to change or die because we had more choices. I reckon football darts even wrestling changed (American style anyway) plus others changed and are still popular. speedway never kept up, neither did snooker and both seem to be slowly dying a slow death. speedway more than snooker no doubt.
