Is it not the case that testing/practice is just starting. would expect Rico in, but why must forum people assume they should be fed endless information on things that are ongoing. What the hell is wrong with a bit of patience and then discussion on fact rather than endless speculation. If you want endless nonsense try Bob D and the stuff fed to the Argus.

Seems sensible to see who of your squad is riding the track the best at practice and then name them in a team after that. Mind you things that envolve sensible thinking are alwas ridiculed on this forum. What other sport? Football have to declare the team to match officials around an hour before kick off. Today at the test match both teams were declared at the toss 30 mins before play starts.

I stated that I do not care who, the named and accepted captain of the squad, was/is. Scot the man in the moon or what. I just feel if you accept a role of this kind in whatever the sport, part of the role is to be there when that squad is in action. If you do not want to be that type of squad member then don't accept the post. Surely thats not unreasonable

An excellent nights entertainment on a properly prepared track. Olsen and a large number of promotors to take note. Give the riders the track and they will produce the goods. No matter at what level. If the product was always like this the people would want to watch. The Lyon gamble, imo worked fully, the youngsters tried there hearts out and will have learnt much from it. All you can ask from anyone is they try their best and I believe they did. The Captain - I don't care who he is once named as squad captain, and presumably accepting that role, should be there with the team. Until I hear of a very vary good excuse I feel the non appearance as a poor show andi mo opinion shows why we have had no team spirit of late. Thursday's team - Do we have riders available whoose current form could improve the team? Richardson from what I have seen is scoring well in Poland and beating many of the riders from the race off teams and I therefore feel can improve the side. Nicholls again from reputation should be able to improve the side, however, we are all aware of his problems and in Poland has been awful and lost his place to McGowan at Wroclaw recently. I would therefor go for a line up of Harris - will fight all the way Richardson - currentl top GB performer in Poland King - earn't the place last night Bridger - for the future and reasonable, not great, in Polish league Woffinden - As Bridger I leave out Kennett as he still needs to develop large track skills and his move away from Eastbourne will help, this puts him just behind Bridger and Woofy Nicholls - Needs to be allowed to get his head right and confidence back and imo would not make a significant improovement to the team chances at this time. No doubt I will have enraged some but its just my view

Like others no doubt I watched the crash as it happened. Feared he was badly hurt as the ambulance went to scene. Fortunately, he got up and although battered did take a couple more rides. He was a lucky young man to escape bad injury. Will retain title imo and fully deserved.

Put my hands up straight away as not knowing the salution, but. The GP'S are close to getting to predictable, bit like F1. Care needs to be taken else tv intrest etc will begin to slip. Comments by the Sky presenter last night along the lnes all being over and not good for tv could see a fall in coverage. Agree totally with lots of dead wood floating around and as I stated earlier, no matter how they got there 2 of the 3 AIN'T GOT A HOPE. Perhaps only top four should qualify for the next year, no wild cards and entry by qualifying rounds only? Just feel some sort of shake up is needed imo
