A GP winner is just what the GTR engine needed.. And surely proves that it is equal to the GM with a massive reduction in running cost for the rider.. Let's hope more riders get on them now If could possibly make speedway viable again

Good move by Bridger,look at Lewi Kerr last year,got rid and away he went,also i did hear it was costing him more to ride for revolution than he was earning,not sure how true that is but was a remarkable chnage in his form Evicted seems quite a strong word for someone who was probably leaveing lol!

Why should other promotions suffer because some cant run a business properly? Many promotions run a very tight ship and pay their bills and continue to run speedway,is it fair that their money should be used to bail out others? Ryan Douglas used one at the show ground last Friday,once got it set up looked fast enough to me like anything new i guess they will need some time to work them out

i think that is totally true,5.30 sunday starts totally kill me getting there for most meetings but i think it is the right call to bring it forward an hour, i still miss friday nights tho!

Im please Richie has stayed at Glasgow,it will do him good hes moved clubs alot in quite a short stint at speedway and think stay put at same track will do him good, For the huge amount of talent he has on a bike[alway looks so natural on a speedway bike] ive often thought he should really be a top rider now,i hope 2017 will see him become one

If the cost savings that are being spoken about are true,then it could be argued that a seasons savings will more than pay for the engine, when it cost 3 x the amount to service a poxy Italian single cylinder engine as it does my car,somthings has to change so you could say cant they afford not to use them?

i am being totally serious yes,it hasnt been tested since the two top leagues have become so close together but as usual with speedway it is so easy to knock somthing before we see how/if it can work

Interesting is the part on the Gerhard engines ie running cost,i think that is a massive step towards speedway being sustainable,if the running costs are to be believed To reduce cost burden on riders,especially in the lower leagues could be a huge boost to the sport,lets hope it works

Im not convinced that people cutting back on spending is the issue,i feel more that people spend it elsewhere,mainly because speedway has gone out of fashion a bit and there are other things to spend it on Quite how you get them back into speedway stadiums i have no idea though as when meetings a promoted for £10 entry the crowd doesnt seem to increase that much But without doubling up or down i just dont see where the riders will come from as we seem to be short now
