He had a few goes at Scunny on Sunday and didnt look like the lad had been away,

True but im fairly sure most know where josh will be in the EL next year

Cant see Richie back as i d say he will return to Lakeside ,so Friday track,hes a great talent and will watch his progress with interest where ver he goes,must say tho id love to see him on a big fast grippy track like say Lynn or P`boro,i think it would do him good

Cant see Josh going full time EL just yet,im sure he will be in PL next year and hope its at Scunny,,hes the kind of rider id pay to watch and the sport needs more of them

I agree but i guess that you could say that by knowing the rules,like we do at the start of the season or before a meeting,you could say that it is fair In straight shoot out matches home and away like you had on sunday,i dont think there should be tac rides,but in a run of the mill league meeting well,we all want to see close scores as much as possible so maybe there is a place for them And one last thing i think when riding at Rough Park you should have 4 x tac rides :wink: regardless of the score!!!

The play offs are there to provide entertainment,something to aim for and to keep the season alive for teams,and i think that on the whole they do that,id like to think that also they could provide a small financial windfall to the promotions involved,but this season the why the draw has worked maybe isnt going to provide that now,but i think it could have Tac rides have never been one of my favourite things either but they also can provide some entertainment,either winning them or defending them And in a sport that lets be honest,can be half dull at times,we need all the excitement and entertainment we can offer

if you want good crowds,you should pick the nearest teams to you,not the furthest away!!!!!

What was the crowd like on Sunday??,at Scunny it wasnt the best with to be expected low numbers of away fans travelling down 4hrs on a sunday night

i agree,if it wasnt for the tac ride you would have come second in the league did you no that!!!!! playoff would be great then i guess!!

He always has lookd the part around Scunny has Bunyan,when riding for IOW and Stoke alot of the times blasting around the outside he was class Unlucky E.F last night cocked his score up but always like to see him ride Scunny,seems to like some dirt and grip

i would think he not the only one and if offers came in they would be out like a flash

I forgot to mention the 125`s last night,brilliant,each one of them and great to see

I wasnt aware the league champions had been declared yet,Newcastle finished top of the qualification table but didnt think they were the true league champions........... I bet the promotions of the other play off teams went to bed with big smile last night

Fine win for Scunny this evening with MPT again showing what great entertainment speedway can be,great to see Best wishes to C.C after what look at nasty spill,from where i was stood he looked like he jumped ship before any really damage was done,i hope that was the case,fair play to "20 bensons",rode with balls and skill,a good effort

Interesting to hear the views from the Leicester promotion last night on the radio about the PL play off groups,Newcastle picking the two furthest away tracks and which then left the other side of the group with some hefty travel bills and basically took out the number who will travel to the meetings Although Newcasstle had every right to pick who they wanted,for the fans and clubs finances it was a stupid move

This group of Scunny Worky and Edinburgh could easily go down to points difference,all three teams are strong at home so theres a good chance there will be no away points scored

What is your gripe with the crowd levels at Scunny,you said i shouldnt worry about stuff yet this issue really seems to worry you The sad thing thing is i get the feeling that in your sad little mind you actually like crowd numbers to fall and clubs to struggle Which team is it you follow in the north,i never did quite catch that???

it will be interesting to see how many folk will pay 23 and 25 for these double headers,i no they have to be done but at those prices is it enough for the promotions to cover cost,and is it to much for punters to pay??

Is it a farce though when Rye had chance of running this meeting to get into playoff?? I agree Morrish has his faults but can you put the blame on him for not running in the run up to the cut off date??
