A fine display from them and deserved winners over the two legs I'd always try and give credit to the winning team rather than pick fault with the loosing team but that was an inept performance from the Scunthorpe seven But take nothing away from Workington.. A deserved victory indeed

to be fair Lakeside were as good as done looking at the score but on the flip side one could argue it is not the panthers fault that Lakeside cant get a meeting done,,,, sadly a no win situation

Another super meeting and a big crowd to watch it,good eoofrt from both sets of riders and maybe the score flatters Scunny a little as the racing was very close 18pts should be enough but Worky are a fine team at home and is set up nicely for the return leg, should also give the comets healthy crowd with everything to play for great advert for the sport in General

because the owner of Scunthorpe is vice-chairman of the BSPA and according the this forum this gives us the right to do what we like when it comes to team selections and guests last i heard actaully next year we will be building to 57 point average where as the rest will have 36 points a 6 riders

therefore de valueing the product further when you cant get a suitable guest? sadly the nature of speedway is you will need guest riders at some point throughout the season and its is up to teams to get the strongest guest they can as the nature of the game is to win i cant see an alternative,although is seems wrong as you pointed out its is also right that Scunny[in this instance] have the best best guest to replace someone who,around the EWR is actaully unreplaceable ...Auty

Edinburgh is hardly slick.... To be fair you don't get to an 8plus average just liking slick tracks... Wells is a good rider.. Very professional to Alot could learn alot from him actually

I'm not sure you can totally blama him.. It was a hell of a lot of points to make up after the first leg thrashing.. But it was a fine effort by the Panthers early in the meeting Seems the Panthers just ran out of steam in the last half of the meeting Shame injuries caught both teams as two full teams on two of the fairest race tracks in the league would have made a proper semi final shootout Hope Boro can salvage something today against Lakeside.. The club deserves a final this season

from a simple selfish point of view i hope 2019 is the same as 2018 as ive seen some outstanding speedway this year at many tracks,and for 15 or 16 quid ive been very well entertained the racing at Scunny has been top draw this year,seen excellent meetings on well prepped tracks at Boro,Redcar ,Workington,Sheffield etc, plus the BT sports presentation of the League and the GPs have been tip top,Also enjoyed the unfancied teams emerging this year such and Worky and Berwick [ ill even confess to become a secret Bandits fan toward the end] only bad meeting ive seen all year was the Swindon dust bowl on TV i hope the clubs with an uncertain future manage to find solutions and arrive at the tapes next season and entertain me as much as they have this year
