proberbly not a bad reserve pairing if they carry on next year from how they are riding now but the main thing is that there is enough support for speedway to carry on in workington and thats from both supportors and promotors

in all respect to josh auty his ht 15 performance was maybe inspired by workingtons own josh pushing him out on bend 2 scrable man came up the inside of auty and they were definatly rubbing against each other till auty went wide allowing both workington riders past all be it only temporeraly great ride from auty to pass them both again but he had to work even harder to get past workingtons new reserve joe jacobs in heat 14

all this talk about riders looking for jobs so ride better when guesting well for me if a rider only rides well when hes trying to impress then he wouldnt be welcome in my team riders are judged by there good and also there poor perfermance so dosnt really pay to only try when guesting for another club

the guest rule has changed you can guest once within a set amount of days of a scheduled meeting not sure the exact contents of the rule

very pleased for glasgow fans but as a workington die hard im really worried looks like workington speedway is in self distruct nothing going right and crowd very poor with a performance like tonight just how can people pay extra for a double helping next week at this moment in time im unsure if ill be there next week theres just no entertainment in it anymore so for what will be proberbly £25 i might aswell put that money to better use maybe go to redcar on thursday instead

very good point and off topic but just how many covers have appeared over silencers now ? you can see the ones who have nothing to hide as the silencer is discoulred with heat where the restrictor/baffle plate is im always a tad suss with the riders using nice shinny silencers or them with a new cover over them didnt see them before the new rule as far as im aware

workington can run any night aslong as stadium is available remember its a rugby club that also runs speedway so the rugby has first call

all the blame can not be put on workington promotion somerset rain off when somerset locals say no rain atall apart from small shower in afternoon and others who dont want to run on the night originaly schedualed because they are washing there hair or something

always plenty off parking in the stadium grounds but unfortunatly we dont have many speedway meetings this season

the prem league does not play second fiddle to the elite when riders double up the club who owns the riders contract gets first call regardless of what league they ride in just as it should be the problem is theres too many riders on loan rather than clubs using riders signed on full contracts

so you are saying that a doctor who lets say is a eye specalist would also know everything required to be a brain surgeon motorsports and other areas are totaly different and if youve never been involved before you may not know what is required and after all the kit required could have been something that is specific to speedway

thats the thing was it a misunderstanding or just taking it for granted the doctor new what he needed but the good thing is it was spotted before it was too late and a rider was down injured without the correct medical kit to treat him so maybe the set up at derwent park is better than other tracks after all how do we know that some tracks dont run without proper cover in place who says it was signed the meeting never got underway

because the doctor on the day was a stand in and it hadnt been made clear what he needed it was another member of the staff that asked if they had all the correct equipment it was only then that it was made clear they needed something which the doctor dosnt need for his normal dutys there has been a failure in comunication or people not understanding what was needed but its as a rule of the regular doctor not being present for whatever reason

great all round team performance tonight and thats not only the 4 riders and rossco but every one involved will be much harder in the final aslong as we try and are not disgraced i wont complain at finishing 4th would think denmark or poland will take the tittle

with usa going through to next round in world cup we have to use r/r for ricky wells how many meetings can we get in before he returns world cup final next saturday and also might be a shortage of stadium staff if they were to try and run on saturday

not many are welcomed at redcar thease days

i agree with the above post by halifaxtiger speedway promotors take the fans for granted and dont really promote the sport as such they just run it speedway is dying on its feet in britan ive been watching the sweedish league on eurosport on tuesday nights why cant british elite league be as exciting as that proberbly main reason is the points limit is too low and they have now brought in 2 national league riders at reserve to keep costs down now briniging in the kids will be a good thing for some of them as it will give them a great chance to improve but it weakens the overall product

not to mention the torental rain that was forcast and arived in the afternoon the road around dunmail park had its usuall reduced width du to the flooding that we get during heavy downpoors last sundays meeting went down well didnt it not the best night for speedway in my opinion

wont get many workington fans arguing with you on this theres just something in the ridding style of some off the riders that says they are not fully comited

come on taylorj it was anounced a couple of days ago that nielson couldnt ride for workington as he had signed for newcastle and would be riding for them your slipping lass

with regards to simon nielson i think sundays performance was the best hes ever rode as a guest for us hes scored some good points against us mind like a few other riders scott brady comes to mind could score double figures riding against us but book him as guest and he was awfull
