  1. something to do with the sheer power his engines have and that 'tbc' that was next to 'tuner' in his description in the programme - I can see restrictions being imposed in the future or the top guys finding out his secret and copying it it still doesn't account for his truly amazing wall of death in the final though
  2. counting back might prove to be a bit difficult too!
  3. superb stuff!! I thought he might give them problems if he gated well
  4. it wouldn't be the first time that the track has changed between practice and the event either
  5. would have liked to have met you all as I have missed out over the last couple of years but once again i'll be with the family on one of our big days out in the year - looks like i'll have to find you all during the rest of the season p.s. if you see a strange hybrid GB/Rye flag it's me
  6. you are of course correct SCB...but strangely I'll personally be taking that route as im staying with relatives just off jct 32 it also looks like there are FIXED 70MPH Cameras between jcts 14 and 16 on M4 (between Hungerford and Bath) http://www.safetycameraswiltshire.co.uk/ they should operate between 14 and 18 but there are currently roadworks cameras checking at 50mph between 16 and 18 (as the Wiz of Shadwell found out to his cost ) http://secure.safetycameraswiltshire.co.uk
  7. it would be awesome if he did get a ride - I bet he'd give em a run for their money out of the tapes! it would also make my neice's day to see him out there
  8. looks like there could be a few cameras between jct 30 and Cardiff as well south wales cameras
  9. park and ride without a doubt! the ncp's will be gridlocked if you leave straight after although it isn't a problem for us this year as we are staying over we have found through experience that it is important to stick to the west side of the city as all the traffic is bypassed trying to go east through the city (we got caught in gridlock for 2 hours in 03!)
  10. id get on the blower ASAP and not stop until they provide a different solution the E-tickets that were optional for Prague last year worked very well -I dont know why they don't use this option as well
  11. I always like watching Becky at work .........and they all go on about Sophie
  12. how about a product aimed at a certain market where it doesn't end up annoying them everytime they watched it - we are paying for it you know

  14. Did I hear or read recently that Weslake (or was it Godden?) is producing a new engine which will be tested and eventually used by Sir Kelvin?
  15. I must admit I went to the stadium expecting for a big increase on 03 but was disappointed - im not suprised by those figures at all Steve - it looked the same as 03 to me I personally think BSI need to take a look at their pricing policy in the weeks leading up to the GP - I see no point in setting the top teir seats at such a high price all the way around the stadium and it would be far better to fill out the stadium than not
  16. ok guys and gals well I have released the rooms with the owner - if you are interested check out The Sloop Inn
  17. Due to a family member inviting us to stay with them we no longer need the 3 rooms we booked in a nice B&B just outside of Newport for the night of the 11th (perfect for Welsh Classic the next day) - I thought i'd give speedway fans the first crack at them the B&B won awards in 03 and is in a lovely location - one room having a 4 poster with a balcony anyone interested please mail me and we'll do it on a first come first served basis
  18. Very sad for Rory and a let off for Richard - do we know if the next in line from Belle Vue (i.e. Brian Yarrow) now becomes a reserve?
  19. Thanks for the line ups Tomas I'd be very interested to see how the draw was made as there does seem to be some kind of pattern to it - yet the Lonigo semi has turned out to be slighty stronger based on finishing positions in the qualifiers
  20. Do we know what happens now in terms of semi draws? Are they all put in one big bag and drawn out or are the 4 qualifying groups split into 8 seeded bags? or does say Austria and UK qualifiers get merged and the same for Latvia and Poland??? Qualifiers: Ed Kennett (seeded) Thomas Suchanek (seeded) Marcin Rempala (seeded) Italian nomination (seeded) Krzysztof Kasprzak Antonio Lindback Krystian Klecha Christian Hefenbrok Pawel Hlib Jonas Davidsson Adrian Miedzinski Mateusz Szczepaniak Rory Schlein Fredrik Lindgren Thomas Stange Karol Zabik Daniel King Kenneth Bjerre Tommy Allen Chris Kerr James Wright Morten Risager Chris Schramm Zdenik Simota Chris Holder Henrik Moeller Klaus Jacobsen Mathias Schultz Martin Smolinski Eric Andersson Ales Kraljic Maxim Kamimullin Res Richard Hall (10) Res Andreas Messing (9) Res Ramon Ivanov (9) Res Lubos Tomicek (9)
  21. now this I understand but with Loramski and Chris Louis injured what choice did they have but to exploit the situation to give experience to future superstars?
  22. taken from unofficial Rye House forum cracking stuff!
