  1. Wonderful stuff from Pavlic and Nicki P, but, dear me, Kolodziej worse than pathetic tonight.
  2. Shocking from Batchelor. I didn't see much wrong with Nicki P's ride in Ht 9. A little hard on Zagar in the first place and certainly ruthless on Kolodziej, but this isn't a high school outing.
  3. If only Gollob had looked back then, he might've stood a change of coaxing Cyran round for the 5-1.
  4. Looks a bit like a girl, talks a lot like a girl, but rides very well.
  5. Batchelor replaced so early. He'll be sulking in the pits, at a guess. A very high opinion of himself, has Batchelor. Andersen could be left sulking after this. They won't want him back at Gorzow. The team looks far better without him.
  6. Another great overtake by Gollob, although once again it was deemed unworthy of being shown by the television producer. And what a fine effort from Bartosz Zmarzlik. He didn't quite get the better of Kolodziej on the run to the line, but it was still a super try.
  7. I was probably editing while you were posting. Quite right in your comments.
  8. Great rides from Gollob and Zmarzlik in Ht 4. In fairness, a decent effort from Tobiasz Musielak to hold off Gollob for a couple of laps, but really pathetic from Batchelor.
  9. Gorzow look stronger without Hans Andersen, if his rides can be shared between Gollob, Nicki P, Iversen and Zagar.
  10. Happened to me too. I took a chance on it. Edit: Okay, okay, my brother took a chance. Shouldn't have left his mobile for me to look after, should he?
  11. The story of the Kasprzak career, some would say. He's a bit like Ulamek, really.
  12. And another fine race to complete things in Czestochowa, with the homesters winning handily enough (51-38). Troubled times for Unia Tarnow, whose riders seem to perform in fits and starts. Ulamek was disgraceful today. He's an ex-Czestochowa rider and knows the track like the back of his hand, but today he was worse than useless. A bad day for the ladies of the Ekstraliga (I wonder if that list includes Ulamek?). It's all over in Rzeszow, where Ms Poltorak's Cranes have lost out to the Angels (44-46) and although it's still going on in Lower Silesia, Falubaz have already won and they've only just completed Ht 12 (25-46).
  13. That was a glorious opening lap from PK and good battling from Szombierski to get the better of Kasprzak for third place.
  14. It is, but he had no answer to Snr in that last heat. Snr has been fantastic today - superb entertainment.
  15. Looks like a bad day in Lower Silesia, where extensive track work was required after just two heats and Sparta are being dismantled by Falubaz. The formidable Ms Kloc will not be happy.
  16. Technically, Vaculik is a Slovak. Anyway, aren't all the Slavic languages related?
  17. I'm guessing Jepsen Jensen, who is having a great meeting in Rzeszow for Torun?
  18. Not entirely sure what Ulamek was trying to achieve there, but unless he was trying to make a complete mess of the turn, he failed miserably.
  19. I mean, how slow can the Lagutas gate? Great ride from Snr to overhaul Kasprzak and almost catch Lindgren, but you can't go around giving people that sort of a start. Jnr obviously distracted by Miss Blue.
  20. Hopefully Laguta (Waguta?) Snr will manage to complete a few races this week. Czestochowa really need him to do so, if they want a good result. On the Tarnow side of the pits it's necessary for Lindgren to get among the points.
  21. Poland's first world champion Jerzy Szczakiel has made his predictions for today's Ekstraliga meetings. In the non-televised meetings, he sees a happy Easter for the people of the city of Jasna Gora as the Lions defeat Tarnow (53-37), while he sees Falubaz coming away from Lower Silesia with a victory over Sparta (42-48). As for the televised meetings, well, he sees Jason Crump leading the Cranes to victory over the Angels of Torun (50-40), but if it goes the way he predicts in Gorzow we should be in for a real treat, as Szczakiel sees a draw between Stal and reigning champions Leszno. 22. Every family has a black sheep. Anyway, the hosts only had one rider in the Golden Helmet final, but that rider was Adrian Miedzinski and he won the meeting after a race-off with Falubaz's Piotr Protasiewicz: http://live.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel3.htm His Holiness left it to his promising apprentice Grzegorz Walasek to provide the weirdness, who, after a couple of lasts, stormed to eight points from his last three rides, including a win in Ht 18 against Miedzinski, Protasiewicz and Maciej Janowski. That's weird enough for me.
