It appears that in between appearances in the Hokey Cokey Cup on Thursday and Saturday, Hans Andersen is required in Gorzow on Friday for talks after his poor showing in Rzeszow: http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/07/czeslaw-czernicki-hansa-czeka-taka-rozmowa-jakiej-w-swoim-zy/ By the look of it Andersen could be dropped from the Gorzow team for Sunday, with former Poole rider Mroczka taking his place.

You mean Benetton?

I do believe it was only the SWC: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=51366&st=0 Surely Gorzow was only confirmed as a GP venue last year? Anyway, I really don't think I'll be attending. Apart from anything else, although I know both New Zealand and Australia are beautiful countries they're not places I've ever wanted to visit.

Well, it was actually the SWC, but nevermind. It's good to see Mr Rising knows his own opinion on this subject, at least. As it goes, I think IMG/BSI would tailor their demands depending on the circumstances and in the interests of expanding the series outside of Europe I would guess they wouldn't hold out for too much.

Looks like a potential away win in the first meeting. Tarnow hardly impressed in defeat at Wroclaw last Sunday and Zielona Gora are a very useful side. In the other meeting it should be a comfortable home win for Leszno. With Torun and Wroclaw being postponed, the only remaining meeting is an interesting clash between Gorzow and Czestochowa. It'll end in an easy win for Gorzow, but the pressure is on the homesters after a dismal opening effort in Rzeszow. The president isn't happy, particularly with expensive new recruit Hans Andersen, with whom he claims he must have a serious talk.

Fredrik Lindgren finds the "juggling silencers" situation "absurd": http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/06/fredrik-lindgren-zonglowanie-tlumikami-absurd/&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&usg=ALkJrhhUWyvmGoDk3c3c1K9XR3PcRlpmUg He does have a point (just not too many more points on the track) and an excellent excuse for his usual poor showings in the Ekstraliga.

It looks like some Falubaz fans overstepped the mark on Sunday: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/05/chuligani-z-zielonej-gory-zaatakowali-pulczynskich/&usg=ALkJrhi9rfcbmXN7i7DUppNIUAxpDR7-Ug Club president Robert Dowhan not entirely happy with his fans: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/05/dzialacze-falubazu-co-dzialo-sie-na-meczu-jest-skandal/&usg=ALkJrhhHpx7tkwBU4zzQBge2CQnlyj-cSg Imagine if the "boorish" Batchelor pulls any stunts at 69 Wrocławska.

It's difficult to know, as the translation is a bit confusing, but it seems he kicked out at Laguta. The mention of Robert Kasprzak and Rune Holta has me wondering if Laguta was actually on the track at the time after a fall. Kasprzak was alleged to have kicked Holta while the Norwegian-Pole was lying on the track after a fall. Kasprzak had his licence suspended for something like six months as a result. The Polish authorities won't be soft on Batchelor if he's done something like that. I note in the comments someone says they have mobile phone footage of what happened.

Troy Batchelor seems to have once again displayed his unerring ability for making enemies: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/03/mateusz-makuch-chamskie-zachowanie-batchelora/&usg=ALkJrhiTyx3pN0wMhFlirfWdJES6t13p8A As for Dudek, it seems he has a licence problem: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/03/falubaz-bez-patryka-dudka/&usg=ALkJrhjjP-dx6WrR0Qf3TRDQLwrjndC8LA

Insane does. Falubaz is a religion in the Green Mountain town and I gather the track has been re-configured during the close season. Falubaz chairman Robert Dowhan is happy with the track, but not so happy with the state of the stdium, especially in comparison to neighbours Gorzow. He wants the city to start coughing over for a stadium makeover.

He'll be mid-to-late-twenties now. Was a bright prospect a few years ago and I think he rode in the World Under-21 final at Peterborough, but injuries slowed him down. Iversen really did a superb job of blocking Gollob there. The only problem being they're on the same team and the Rzeszow riders were racing away to a 5-1. Guess it'll be Gorzow's big guns in both Ht 14 and Ht 15.
