I imagine it's hard seeing where you're going with a visor covered in mud. Just been introduced to the fence by Pedersen on the back straight as well. This is awful stuff. -

I see no such indication. First of all, flagrag states a "personal" desire for Ekstraliga racing and states merely a "belief" that Sky has been offered the rights to the Ekstraliga. If flagrag were in a position of influence, he would surely know whether or not Sky had been offered the rights. -
Finished? Apparently not ... Now? It seems not ... Third time lucky. Sadly, no ... Hurrah, it's over. Is Harris entering the GP Challenge this season, or is it beneath him?

Thought it was stated that Sky had turned down the rights to the Ekstraliga. It should be remembered that anyone wanting said rights is dealing with Terry Russell's Go Speed, which acquired the rights last year. Personally speaking, I don't think SirShoutalot could cope with Ekstraliga racing. -
Well, here is the judgement in relation to Unia Leszno: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/16/unia-ukarana-za-stan-toru-podczas-meczu-z-pge-marma/&usg=ALkJrhgjAo422p-xIKkpzlkV_N-yxQ4K5w It appears to me to be a very comprehensive document, that explains the relevant regulations and outlines all evidence gathered and the reasoning behind the decisions taken.

I don't think that there have been too many formal protests. Indeed, this spat between Gdansk and Poznan could be the only episode. In other high profile cases, there were complaints, but any investigations were launched as a result of the referee's report. For example, I can't immediately recall Zielona Gora making much of a fuss about the Wroclaw track that is now under investigation. I think it is good, to be honest, if clubs are called to account for providing a poor surface and I think it is good that investigations and their findings are fully disclosed and reported.

Around 10,000 tickets sold as of Thursday, so it shouldn't be an issue: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/13/gp-szwecji-goeteborg-przygotowany-do-turnieju/&usg=ALkJrhgi_japNLBbuFwjjqT8HWc2-9yEJw Thomas H Jonasson wants to win a few races and make the semis: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/13/thomas-h-jonasson-postaram-sie-wygrac-w-sobote-kilka-wyscigo/&usg=ALkJrhhKXWrsO8w78hDqvIg1OPXyC2tF6g Andreas Jonsson wants to do well in front of the Swedish public and put a poor Leszno show behind him: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/13/andreas-jonsson-chce-dobrze-wypasc-przed-swoimi-kibicami/&usg=ALkJrhjjLWhd7iqZ8QtiOlijsNZxzRLMoQ Unsurprisingly, Tomasz Gollob is the favourite, at least with sportingbet.com: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.com&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/13/gollob-faworytem-gp-szwecji/&usg=ALkJrhgk65EwZqA1usFj0xHGEWpD2l5M7A -

If there is Elitserien action next Tuesday, it looks like Vetlanda will be without Janusz Kolodziej as he takes a week off starting immediately after the Gothenburg GP: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1R2SUNC_enGB359%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/12/kolodziej-odpocznie-od-zuzla/&usg=ALkJrhgqeTef9RhFFMHVwkXHRoZzQAe6Zg Leszno are hoping he'll be able to ride against Zielona Gora on 22 May 2011.

I think racers and royals was asking what Jonasson was doing when he got excluded in Ht 15, rather than querying why he was in the meeting. -
Ah, Comrade Bryn, I've always found Polish sources to be reliable.

Zielona Gora's Grzegorz Zengota is targeting a return to the track on 20 May 2011 and is hoping to return to competitive action on 2 June 2011: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dfalubaz%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DG%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=pl&u=http://www.zuzel.zgora.pl/zengota-20-maja-na-tor,d3642.html&usg=ALkJrhi6f4s3tDi0fDPcGFi1lGDTMHc6Ww

Can't imagine Alex at the Federation being too chuffed at getting a call from Tomasz from Poland asking him to sort out a border crossing for him and a couple of mates coming to watch a meeting.
-
We will never know. You can give your opinion, but that's all it is.
-
So, you don't care which country, but the best Brit at the time must be in. That's consistency for you. If Harris had finished ahead of Walasek I'd have said he deserved a place ahead of the Pole. But he didn't, so by your own argument Walasek deserved the place more.

Gdansk have now called for the GKSZ to take disciplinary measures against Poznan for the actions of various riders and officials during Sunday's meeting between the two clubs: http://translate.googleusercontent.com/translate_c?hl=en&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dsportowefakty%2Bzuzel%26hl%3Den%26rlz%3D1G1TSEA_ENUK335%26prmd%3Divns&rurl=translate.google.co.uk&sl=pl&u=http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/05/11/lotos-wybrzeze-wnioskuje-o-kary-dla-lechmy-poznan/&usg=ALkJrhisudfxaLxUIrkVmGFAjniktsKDCw The coastal club's president Maciej Polny is also a member of the GKSZ, but he will not be allowed to participate in any decisions made in relation to this scandal.
-
You miss the point entirely. Fact is, Walasek was there because he deserved to be there. He showed he was superior to Harris over the series. The conclusion has to be that Harris wasn't good enough either. He got another chance because he was British and Walasek didn't because there were already enough Poles in the series. If Harris hadn't been British, he'd never have got a sniff at the GPs. I argued for years that it should be merit.
-
Yet Walasek finished ahead of Chris Harris in 2009. That's the Chris Harris you are sponsoring in 2011. I have as much chance of winning it as Chris Harris. I would also point out that Walasek was there on merit in 2009 and not becaause your mates at BSI needed a couple of token Brits.
-
You don't get to decide who is in the GPs though, do you? So, to paraphrase you from another thread: who cares what you think? PePe, Walasek and Co will take part, whether you think they're good enough or not. And if they qualify from Vetlanda, they're in the GPs, whether you like it or not. The problem is it's a fifteen rider series, but the sport only really has 10-12 riders genuinely worthy of being in it.
