  1. well that means we've running, this seasons hopeless now.
  2. Good win for Ipswich against a struggling Comets team, we don't expect to get any points from reserve, Matt Williamson is finding it hard at No 4, probably losing confidence and has no chance of going back to reserve where he was scoring freely. Jorgenson has been disappointing though he has looked great in some races. It is good to see Mason scoring more points after all his knockers. Shuttleworth walked out, can't be replaced, hopefully none of the others will get injured. Do they not think what the consequences might be when they change rules. The BSPA should stick to board games.
  3. Yeah, lot better than having a greyhound track on the outside of the track. We used to stand on bend 2 but prefer the stand now to see all the track.
  4. what a stupid remark when you know he was working in Poland.
  5. Good post, think last weeks defeat had most affect the attendance, hoping it goes up after winning, some good races last night.
  6. Yeh but it's part of it. My point was it had nothing to do with what Josh would have done.
  7. I think he means Lawson rode against Sheffield last night for Workington but tonight.....crazy. That's how it is though but turning people off.
  8. Newcastle's Alfie Bowtell is guesting at 7 for the Comets.
  9. James scored 8 riding for Coventry Select along with Adam Roynon who also scored 8. Touch wood, he didn't break the tapes in his last appearance at DP scoring 6 from 5.
  10. I wouldn't think the NSS has a large enough crowd capacity. People travelling to Cardiff don't have to bother about the weather either.
  11. It's on the Comets unofficial site that Cook was taken ill tonight.
  12. When was anything simple and logical in speedway.....
  13. i give a toss whether tracks are smooth or not after Sargeants injury cos of hitting a hole at Newcastle on Sunday, then it was repaired as you might know. Cookie brill, not all from gate and passing Holder. Won't be riding for Comets next week v Sheffield though..
  14. Good to see Ashley doing well, not passing Jorgensen though lol. He was coming on at Comets before his head injury. Lambert is far from useless but didn't live up to expectation on his earlier visits to DP, he was better on Sunday and his gating looked better.
  15. This is old news and was put on heres a while back, there is is no need to rake this up from 10 years ago other than to mock the top British rider. I doubt if he'd rode for Newcastle it would have been on. Craig's probably laughing about it these days.
  16. Ok he's young but I meant 16 year olds coming from the lower league. Eveyone's different, no I wasn't and still not perfect but 19yr olds aren't kids.
  17. Lambert was better today than on his other appearances at DP this season. Maybe Cook fancied the track and tried to get the record, or maybe he got it cos Lambert wasn't far behind..As for the wheelies, if a Comets engine had blown or somat he would/should have been excluded for not racing, not a good example for kids coming into the league.
  18. Jorgensen knocked his knee at KL last Wednesday. Comets put on Comets Unofficial this morning that he was fit to ride, he did great, lost his chain at the start in one heat though.
  19. didnt Cooks chain come off in heat 1 when he was leading?
  20. He apparently was a joy to watch at The Showground last season though, strange. As Comets fans found out and others before he' s inconsistent.
