Yeh, just a bit. Great meeting with in football terms a Fergie time winner, fantastic. Glasgow have good riders in Lawson, Morris and Summers, very unlucky that Kauko got injured. Sticky not bad at reserve either. I thought Summers may have been in heat 15. There's been good meetings at DP for a few week now, just wish them who are staying away cos there's no passing would go and see that there is. Hope Ash is guesting next week too, well done Comets!

I believe also that a lot of fans did not return after the floods of 2009, there was no replacement road bridge for the start of the 2010 season, I think people just got out of the habit and perhaps found something else to do. There has been some good meetings recently too.

It's getting silly this, accidents happen, usually someone's fault but not necessarily deliberate. It was a good win for the Comets and good news Kyle wasn't seriously hurt.

Always thought that the b/w helmet was same for both teams but against a team using r/r and then losing a heat leader in his first ride seems a bit unfair.. I suppose the rules are complicated enough though.

Should be a good meeting with a few riders capable of winning. Always enjoyed it best from the bar on the 3rd & 4th bends, wish they'd open it again. Cook or Kennett for me.

the track record at DP is 62.7, in the 70s it was well over 70 secs. The track hasn't changed that much..I think the skill of the riders is a factor. That's a generalisation, not about any one incident.

Joking apart speedway must be one of the hardest sports to follow with injuries, doubling up and international commitment etc. I've gone off over hyped football a lot but at least teams have squad players to come in and fans don't have to be wondering if they'll have a team all week. I know squads & 6 man teams have been mentioned for speedway, squads especially seem unworkable with full time riders. The sport needs a good shake up.
