I know it depends on how things are said but I'm wondering if ther's a case for libel in suggeting these meeting were not held "deliberately" I guess Laura is absolutely gutted at what's happened.

Wouldn't you think a doctor going to a motorsport meeting would know what was required, pain back, head injuries etc? I think Laura was right to refund the fans, weather's one thing but no medical kit, that's something else. It's been put on the Comets unofficial site that the stadium kit was away with the rugby team who had a fixture in Wales yesterday. Perhaps the doctor doen't always carry a kit if there's normally one at the stadium, perhaps the promotion didn't realise that the stadium kit went to away matches. There's obviously been a lack of communication somewhere, I just hope that lessons are learned and people get over it, no fans anywhere want to see teams going out of the league.

Hopefully the Comets will do enough to qualify though it's r/r for Kyle Howarth again as he's still not fit.

Ricky is a bit up and down but is second in our averages and scored 10 at P'boro, only guest Lawson scoring more. If Rene improves and he keeps averaging about 8 it won't be bad.

Don't think it made a lot of difference, Simon got paid 3 pts and could maybe have felt Ricky let him win. Main thing is we won and I hope Kyle has gained confidence from having a better meeting

Hope Rich can guest against Edinburgh, below Josh in averages, would be good seeing him up against Cookie, unfortunately I won't be there. Don't think Graverson will be at Redcar for long now he's in the main body of the team and them having scope to make changes. Thought Skidmore might have done better, well done Simon. Pretty solid, if only Rene could get back to form, it would make a difference. Ricky could have took off and left Simon but he didn't. I'm not going to criticise him for taking the win.

Yeh, Lakeside bought him but the Comets have an option to buy him back at the end the season.

Wells has done pretty well away from home.

Hopefully a change of environment and a whiff of northern air will bring some improvement. If not more changes might have to be made, other riders need to improve too
