The reason it was increased was because this year the reserves actually have averages.................they can move in and out of the main team...........had and you only have to look at who is riding for who at reserve to see why it was increased to 40............. Planning for the following season starts before the season ends of course it does but that does not mean riders are signed.............which cannot really be done (perhaps apart from one or two lower end ones) before the AGM which should be as soon as the play offs are completed............ RP

Anyone with Virgin Media and has the sports package should get it as standard............ A word to the wise about streaming to a mobile device..............make sure you are connected to wifi and not mobile data when watching or it will eat your data allowance...............even though some plans have unlimited data that is not strictly true.............there will always be a reasonable use limit.......... RP

Each to their own as they say but due to financial constraints I cannot afford to go abroad as often as I would like...............hence the motorhome holidays in the UK............... RP

I have done Cardiff on less than £100 a head for accommodation and tickets.................. Don't knock camping......................we took (alibi it is the vehicle the company him indoors works supply him with) a small motorhome to Cardiff last year and it cost us £40 for two nights with electric included................there were a few riders (spectators obviously) camping at the site we stayed at too...............have also done camping in a tent at different events I have been to (not all speedway related) and had a great time so don't rule it out............ RP

A good idea in theory but are they going to move the venue from year to year now as surely it would be unfair for Peterborough to be in the final all the time...............a fairer way of doing it would be to seed the previous years winner through................. Also the timing is appalling...............two weeks after Cardiff and a week before the SWC at Belle Vue..................there are very few people who can afford the three events in that short space of time and a lot will be struggling to afford to go to one of the three................ RP

Danish rider Ernst Bogh's daughter also rode for a bit............. There are a few women coming through the ranks in the USA (Courtney Crone, Sara Cords and Hayley Perrault spring to mind) And Carly Gittus took part in the Rob Woffinden classic at the weekend............. Good to see the women giving it a go............ RP

With the team line ups I have seen so far I cannot see beyond Somerset, Glasgow, Ipswich, Sheffield, Newcastle and Peterborough..................final between Ipswich and Somerset............... RP

To be fair to Kurtz and the others its not exactly the strongest field in the Aussie championships...............no Holder, No Doyle and No Batch though he is injured but at least it gives a chance for the youngsters to shine................Tungate seems to be doing great this winter as he won the Jason Crump invitational on Boxing Day............ Not sure who he came to blows with but I recall in the earlish 80's Martin Goodwin coming to blows with someone at Poole...............funny thing is I was having this conversation with a friend last night.................I won't tell you what his thoughts on Goodwin are............. RP

Again I have said that I don't believe everything I read in the press and as regards your other comments about spouting rubbish I am afraid to say I have seen you do it on a number of occasions on different threads...............so don't accuse me of something that you are good at yourself............. I am entitled to an opinion as much as the next person..............and I respect other peoples opinions............there are times when I have no respect though and sadly this forum regardless of who the poster is is becoming very disrespectful..............you don't like what I have to say then its not my problem.............but when other posters start bullying posters such as myself is something I draw the line at.............. Re read the post.................It was not aimed at anyone specific and no I don't believe everything I read in the press...............life in the speedway world would be a whole lot easier if people did not take press articles at face value all the time............... RP

Press articles often deviate from the truth as it does not matter who wrote it it will often be edited down.................so I never said he was a liar............just that I do not believe everything they write in the press................ RP

Well I am not one who has ever begged for a certain rider to leave at any time..............if a rider has a loss of form as Chris did this year I would not be saying he should go or be replaced like some fans on here...................if changes need to be made they will be but it will not be the baying fans that force them.......... I would have preferred Dak back at Poole but pleased he has got a place at Swindon................ Funny didn't you say that when Middlo managed Team GB and not a Brit in sight................. Funny how Swindon can have (if Dak is confirmed but I have not seen that yet) no Brits in the main team and its fine but if Poole do it its wrong............. It also funny how some Swindon fans are happy to slate Poole the whole time but are happy to have Poole assets in their team.......... Double standards from some people................... RP
