I stop and watch second halves but I wish they were proper second halves as used to be run at Belle Vue (Hyde Road) all riders from the main meeting taking part. Prize money and a trophy donated by a local company. .

Heard at lunch today Belle Vue licence has been withdrawn

I have just got back from lunch with a dear friend who informed me that Belle Vue promotion have had their licence withdrawn can anyone confirm this

From Buxton weather station 1 mile as crow flies from speedway track after a bright and sunny start it will be a dry day with some good sunny spells. Cloud may build a little in the afternoon but it should remain dry. Light westerly winds. Max temp 7degrees C

nice and sunny now that last nights frost has gone

All well and good to call off two days before event but no reason given

I have heard that the Stoke v Buxton match on Saturday & Buxton v Stoke on Sunday are off can someone confirm this please

As the weather is at present glorious sunshine in Buxton town. It did rain during the night but Buxton`s track does dry out quickly. I do hope its on today

Is there going to be any parking inside the new Kirky lane stadium or is it on street around the close area

I hope this is your hardest meeting and that Buxton get all the points. I also hope that it`s a safe meeting and no rider gets hurt .

Weather in Buxton is fine at present starting to dry up on my patio. The hill near the track can be seen from our house this usualy means that its ok at High Edge. BBC weather states sunny with light cloud from 13-00pm till 20-00pm for Buxton area so the family hope to be at the track from 2-30 and to see some good racing

Mildenhall USAF base is used under the visiting forces act . This was an agreement set up by the govenment during WW2. Re confirmed in 1952 It more or less lets them do as they please.

Any news if this match is on or off it`s pi$$ed down in Buxton overnight but now seems to be clearing. Weather forcast says fine from 11.00 am and this track does dry out with a good wind of which there is plenty about 1 mile from track in Harpur Hill
