Urgent Postponement Stoke V Buxton 13/04/14
fredbogge replied to Swift Saint's topic in National League Speedway
Sounds to me that the sub-soil requires stabalizing. This is a very specialised civil engineering process and can also a very expensive one. It may need that part or all of the track requires removing and the sub-soil injected with lime / cement/ fly ash. This can only be checked by qualified civil engineers So I hope Stoke promotion have deep pockets Look up soil-stabalizing on search engines for information on this subject -

I have no doubt that Jack will be still at Buxton, just hoping Jayne would make a statement about the team members
-
Just seen that Jack Lee has gone to Birmingham as team manager . Come on Jayne tell us please are Buxton running this year and who is in the team and by that I mean the whole team all seven riders and who is going to be the team manager
-
As it is getting close to the season start for Buxton is it not time for the fans who turn up every week at High Edge are given some news as to who is in the team this year
-
Maybe down to £10.00 per point
-
I would think 1 after each hitman home match thats 8 and one match as a stand alone with 2 teams in a double header I would think 1 as a second half after each hitmen NL meeting thats 8 and 1match as a stand alone double header

Great news another track to go to this year only 1hr 40 mins from Buxton
-
I would like to think Adam might return to ride for Buxton but I doubt it He is now a married man with a young family and his regular work comitments as an engineer may not allow this (by this I mean midweek away meetings ) company bosses are not always sympathetic to missing work .But we may live in hope
-
Well worded statement from Liam Carr giving back to Buxton some of the chance they gave him last year not like some who were there last year
-
Well spotted
-
B&W Double have a look on the Buxton website please remember buxton speedway is a business and business` dont always disclose dealings till they are completed to all parties satisfaction . I certainly do not and I am not part of the Buxton Promotion.Just a friend of the late Ken Moss

Thanks mate -
Cars first in the 1970`s on a hardcore track then as the stadium developed the track was tarmaced. Speedway came later on what was the center green, but it was a tight little track long straights and very tight bends.A few years later the stadium operators offered Ken Moss the field behind the stockcar track and thats where the track is now still run by the Moss family
