  1. Yes.Saw a news report yesterday and all types of spirits in pukha bottles looked to be a problem,so stick to beer and wine
  2. So you're saying Hans is a bit slow......well we knew that already
  3. Gonna have to go easy on the alcohol in CZ.Apparently 20 people or so have died from dodgy vodka/methanol mix.Police have raided 19,000 bars and restaurants!!!!!crikey http://www.bild.de/news/ausland/alkohol/riesen-razzia-in-19000-bars-und-restaurants-in-tschechien-26221534.bild.html
  4. Ok then we can drink to Oskar and another FIM gold medal for Finland in Pardu
  5. I think it is pretty difficult to do that.A lot ofthe time Robert will be at a German track to sign in at 9 am saturday morning or sunday morning. Can he make an NL meeting on a friday night or saturday night and then get to germany for practice the next morning? From talking to the family they travel round in a camper rather than flying over so i can't see it.And anyway when i was talking to them NL just didn't appear to be in their future plans. They were talking about doing meetings in Sweden + Poland more than GB.Not sure how it would all work as i think the Polish junior league rides thursdays.I do think though if they didn't need U15 meetings this year then they won't be looking at NL level for Roberts further development
  6. Nicki has it down in his calendar Not got time to go through any of the other riders though
  7. What would happen if he becomes German U21 champ without riding in the Bundesliga?Does being a national champion give you an automatically higher assesed average?Like you,i don't think having a 5 point starting average will bother any promoters or the lad himself
  8. Know what you mean scb.Ok i have already seen him this season, but i am really looking forward to the german U21 final in a couple of weeks where i think Robert will be riding. At least when i talked to his parents some months ago they said he could qualify, and i think from results he must be one of,if notthe best scoring north german U21 rider. So,bring it on If you wanna get a plane over to hamburg,i'll pick you up at the airport and take you to the meeting
  9. Yes,apart from the two Ukrainian riders, who have been regulars anyway in the Holstebro side. But what is great is that say in the Holsted side they have 4 riders out ofthe 5 that have been with the team quite a long time.Only really Nicolai who is originally an Outrup rider is an outsider i would say, although Patrick did do a few seasons with Fredericia i remember.Porsing and Rasmus Jensen and also Claus Vissing + Henrik as well were long time Holsted riders. And Hans + Kildemand have done many years for Fjelsted and Bjarne the same with Holstebro.Only really Esbjerg have a fairly new team with no long termers. So you really can build up a relationship with the riders
  10. Yes.One or two enquiries been made to some of the youngsters that i know of from teams in Britain
  11. Good to see the teams ain't packed with foreign riders, but made up mainly of danes
  12. Strange.Looks like the site has changed toa football site, but at least they are still advertising the Superliga final for kanalsport. So hope springs eternal or something like that :party:Seems to be working again.....sigh of relief here
  13. Looks to me like kanalsport has gone out of business?????Seem to get a new football site 442.dk now
  14. World has gone mad....someone slags off your years work in the minibarrowboy tables and instead of kicking the bllix out of him you get upset at a jokey remark.Get a grip here
  15. You can see the fun loving sensitive guy that Nicki is on the Discovery Channel http://www.bt.dk/film-og-tv/se-nicki-pedersen-fortaelle-om-livet-som-speedwaykoerer
  16. Thought they cut the numbers due to costs,so i can't see them wanting to transport 23 riders equipment to NZ instead of 15 riders for a starter
  17. Just a week ago on tv after the Berlin football derby a Union(ex East German team) player who was born a year after the Berlin wall fell said about Hertha(West Berlin) fans who were celebrating a win" „Die jubeln in unserem Stadion – das kotzt mich an! Das muss man erst mal verdauen. Mein Tor ist mir scheißegal. Wenn die Wessis in unserem Stadion jubeln, dann krieg‘ ich das Kotzen.“ You can translate that yourself, but the reaction from his manager?.He is Union through and through. That was probably a joke!!!! And this was not during, but after the match and just laughed off by the guy in charge.
  18. Maybe because there isn't a point you are making.....if my Auntie had balls she would be my Uncle.....They might get taken over.....BP might want to sponsor speedway.....i might win the Euro lottery and end speedways problems tomorrow.......Lewis Bridger might one day as predicted be world champion......Muslim fundamentalists might bring down western europe and ban motorsports anyway.....
  19. Exactly. We have a fast and dangerous sport that attracts finally a decent sponsor because of its image. Then we are being told we should be careful because mulit nationals are wary of dangerous sports.Well what is the answer to that one?????I doubt if the sport as it is is big enough to bypass the smaller cutting edge sponsors and go straight for multi nationals. So we have to keep on hoping more and more smaller cutting edge sponsors follow Monster. As it is speedway is a dangerous sport, nothing we can do about it,so if multi nationals don't like them a bit of swearing isn't going to make that much difference
  20. Just another hypocrite who doesn't like fans being able to have their say, unless agreeing with his opinion. And the best bit is he spent soooo long slagging off anyone who hid behind an alias, and what does he do???????
  21. There is alway going to be bias towards riders people like or know. For instance one ex rider who doesn't tend to criticise Nicki recently called another rider "pond life" for a "dirty" move.I see on the net another rider criticizing Nicki and saying Gollob never does things like that or look behind him.But i am sure we can all remember incidents when Tomasz has turned right on riders. One i seem to recall a few years back must have been in a GP just as he was entering the bend/end of straight.Might even have involved AJ,but i really don't remember. It is all in the eye of the beholder.I am a Nicki fan,but i think he lets himself down sometimes in interviews and i am suspicious of his "out of control" wheelies. But apart from that i do think he is just a hard rider, just like so many champ before and after.Gollob is just one
  22. It would seem the obvious solution going by a large number on here,as those that have ridden a bike have far more knowledge than those that have not and i guess we should believe that they all therefore share the same opinion. Sky know Nickis track record and the fact that he tends to lose a sense of reality in the heat of the moment. They should share the responsibilty in any such moment. Can't just put a mic under his nose expecting such an outburst and then appologize for it.This sort of thing is always going to happen in such moments. This year i know one rider even threatened that he and his family would give a ref a doing over after a meeting. But i guess after 5 minutes or so he had calmed down and after the meeting the ref went into the pits and the rider and his family didn't say a word. This was in Ice Racing though and not in front of tv cameras and was laughed off by the ref, rather than reported or fines and bans being handed out
  23. Amazing result. Not sure how anyone can doubt the Lambert's seem to have made the right choice for the lads progress.Just have to hope that he continues to make further progress as we so badly need a top rider
