  1. Strongly disagree with that, Cook has improved every season in GB, plus made a great start to his Polish career. Now if you'd rather pick Lidsey because he's younger / has a lower average / you believe he's got more improvement in him, then I can't argue with your reasoning in preferring Lidsey. But I certainly feel Cook, hasn't reached his full potential.
  2. That first sentence is the most ridiculous thing I've read on here in ages. By all means you can suggest Rowe is stronger / more promising but a "million miles ahead" come on, be serious. As for why they are even being compared? Well they've both progressed out of the RS berth at the same time, so why wouldn't you compare them?
  3. It would certainly make sense for riders to double up with the Cheetahs & Spires
  4. Keep Vuolas rather than Blodorn to allow the top 4 to remain? * It may fit / it may not fit
  5. If true, how is it any different than Brennan leaving Birmingham to go to Ipswich?
  6. It's not that I don't want Zischke at reserve, just think Vuolas & Zischke will both improve, so want them both in the team. The only way to do that is have Zischke in the top 5. I'd rate Ben Cook & Vuolas to outscore Ellis & Blodorn for example (if that fits)
  7. Once again I 100% agree with this premise. As before I was commenting that if Poole fans are the "best in the world", then they'd turn up in sufficient numbers to support & make a profit racing in the NDL too. I'm not expecting them to race NDL, just suggesting a previous poster wasn't correct with their opinion of Poole's fan base.
  8. Will anyone go for Antti Vuolas? I have been very impressed with him, if I was Belle Vue, would've had Zischke & Vuolas with a powerhouse top 4.
  9. Pride, their riders morals, not wanting to let the fans down, riders earnings, could even be lowering averages of their riders who will end up elsewhere in 2025.
  10. I understand that completely, not denying that's the right thing to do at all. My (tongue in cheek) reply was to a comment that Poole fans are the best in the world. Following that premise then they should all turn up to NDL matches & the Ford's would make an even bigger profit! Honestly I'd have to say Oxford have the best fans, they turn up in sufficient numbers to run teams in all 3 leagues, plus put up with a team manager who apparently tried to hinder them. Massive credit to the Oxford fans* from me. * Before someone says anything, not the ones who verbally or physically abused opposing fans or riders of course, not singling them out, sadly all clubs will have a few bad eggs.
  11. Riss is 5.55, so 6.08 left. Chris Harris fits, but is rumoured to be at Lynn, next best Steve Worrall?
  12. @arnieg was replying to a comment about "rising stars" who had "possibly peaked" correctly pointing out that wasn't the case for Edwards. Comparing Edwards to Rowe & Dan T is kinda irrelevant in this instance as the discussion was based on who would end up the strongest "rising star". It's now turned into a "who has improved the most" discussion, but it didn't start out like that lol!
  13. If true, why can't they convince the fans to turn up on Thursdays for Premiership racing? Or even enter a NDL team as well as Champ? If they are the "best supporters ever" they'll turn up & support the team whatever right?
  14. Nope, if any 37 year old goes for an apprenticeship but is denied due to age, the company could be sued for age discrimination. Sport shouldn't be any different. Besides Garrod has developed more than most in the NDL this season.
  15. Couldn't have put it any better myself. Wojdylo would be far down my list of options
  16. Depends how they worded it, if they were like "we want to do all 3 leagues, but can only manage 1 home & 1 away", then it's up to the remaining Championship clubs to decide if they want 16 league fixtures with Oxford in the league or 28 league fixtures with Oxford not in the league? Oxford can't make the rest of the league do what they want them to do. Of course if there's too many fixtures for Oxford, another option would be to remove them from the BSN series & have 2 groups of 4 (Plymouth, Poole, Redcar & Scunthorpe) and (Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow & Workington) would at least mean 13 home matches minimum?
  17. Very true, but does leave him on an attractive average for next season now.
  18. I don't understand that, surely if 8 clubs wanted 2 home & 2 away, they should just vote for that & Oxford stick to the Premiership (& NDL)? One less team would make 2 home & 2 away more feasible.
  19. Maybe not a realistic team, but It'd be a bloody good one imo Tobiasz Musielak 8.21 Freddie Lindgren 8.13 Vadim Tarasenko 6.77 Tom Brennan 6.52 Zach Cook 5.57 Justin Sedgmen 4.79 Jason Edwards RS Total 39.99
  20. I was referring to Schroeck who is the worst by far, Cami & Sudden Sam are closer Pete Adams & Middlo than to Schroeck. Well maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration lol!
  21. That cannot be denied imo, but if I was a Lynn fan my priority would be having the strongest RS for 2025, not having a potential future GP rider. Unless he was your own asset of course.
  22. Would be guaranteed to be a heat leader imo. If he was 4th in the averages would mean a pretty weak reserve pairing. Or 3 x 6.5/7 point riders above him.
