It stinks how can you get a guest for an injured rider who was managing to knock a few moves out in Walkabout on Friday he's as injured as me , right beside me so yes I was there before some clever so and so asks . Another bad night at the office for the Comets, but one consolation we don't get beat by Edinburgh, we'l let Peterborough suffer that

Hey no need to drag me into it, I haven't posted on this thread until now . I just sit back and read all the others comments about Rough Park with the odd like here and there . Haven't had much to comment on really after all lest we not forget that the Comets beat the Diamonds in the PL fixture

Think Somerset used the weather as their Get of Jail free card here, after travelling since 9.30am we passed the track at 9.05pm and all roads were dry , yeah the forecast looked poor most places but having no rain all week and even on Friday wasn't forecast til after 4pm , think calling it off at 9am was premature to say the least. Agree with Arson Fire here, its all too easy to call off a meeting on the strength of a possible rain off, especially when the hosts are missing two key riders. And Willowman wonders why Somerset leave a bitter taste in my mouth !!!! I bet you next Friday I'l be standing under my bloody umbrella for 3hours to watch the PL Pairs

First visit to Rye house last night and hopefully not my last. A great bunch of fans who made us Worky fans feel very welcome and the lovely man (can;t remember his name) who took 4 of us onto centre green to watch the action, you are a credit to your team and going by all posts on here its about time your promotion stopped taking you for granted. I really hope it turns around for you guys and Rye House doesn't become another team lost to British Speedway. A great performance from Worky didn't think we would come away with a scoreline like that, we were chuffed to bits and had a very happy Supporters bus on the long journey home Well done Comets and best wishes to Rye House for the future

Weather looking naff in morning but sun to break thru around 4pm leaving a pleasant night , hopefully !! These rain offs are killing the season , 1 away league match and it's bloody July 😡😡 end of season gona be pretty congested just in time for weather turning again !!

Well I can't promise but I will try , I'm hoping we keep it closer than our last visit to OTA, Somerset are pretty dominant on their own track. Thanks, a long journey down then onto Rye House on Saturday. Yes two visits in two weeks but luckily only having to travel across from Cardiff for the pairs . Maybe not quite !! , No Morris and Vissing in for Ricky Wells, Kasper Lykke Nielsen replaces Ash Morris, and this time they will have the Southern Tour supporters club bus cheering them on, and by god can we make some noise . Maybe my good friends on here, Willowman, Womble53, Najer, Starman will buy me a pint of Somerset Cider

Exactly, thanks, someone who understands were I'm coming from . I wouldn't be happy if our boys were at an away track and did the same, sometimes respect to an injured rider is more important than winning the next heat

I'm not meaning they were too near the incident and blocking what was going on, I was meaning just being disrespectful , carrying on with the gate digging for their next race, while another rider is being seeing too after a horrific looking crash, beside them. Had you been sat in the Grandstand where we were you would have seen Worrall stick his two fingers at the fans and even laura getting them moved away from the start line not happy with them

Ipwsich riders were not well away from Rene and what was going at all so a big issue in my opinion !!! The ambulance on track to attend a rider and you have the opposing team digging up the starts gates right beside it, disrespectful .

Wow what a meeting , not sure how to put it but Ipswich deserved a point but we deserved all 3 after that comeback after Rene's crash !!!! Don't be too hard on your guys they did really well. Thank god Rene,s injury wasn't as bad as his crash , a great effort from our guests again Tommy Jorgensen was fantastic and Taylor 100% effort, and take a bow Simon Lambert , well done young man . Only thing I didn't like was when Rene was down and the ambulance was out attending to him , Worrrall and heeps decided to start digging out the gates , now I would hope that our boys wouldn't come out and do that on other tracks, bit disrespectful towards the other rider , and then Worrall puts his two fingers up to the crowd, but karma perceived yet again , haha A great result without a full Comets team Well done guys

At least you managed to see 9 hts of speedway , our supporters bus travelled to berwick the other week and not a bloody wheel turned , entry paid for, programme and 50/50 tickets !!! No conspiracy theory , we had a one off situation concerning the county ambulance. I would have loved to have seen all 15 hts, sedgman poor, sneddon poor, fox poor, not going to the win the league with a 4 man team think we would have kept the points, the re run will more than likely have Worrall in the body of the team so not being able have 7 rides, bring it on ;-) . The booing for Masters and Fox will have been to the fact of the massive roll they got away with total farce.
