  1. Still sure the other two where on 1st & 2nd bend , have to agree with heat 15 was great racing
  2. Really, list them all please, sure I was watching the same match
  3. Well been quite a while since I was at Berwick and was really sweet to go back and take 3 points from my far from favourite place . If the racing was better last night for the Berwick fans then jeez god help you I dread to think what it had been like in previous weeks. Only 2 passes all night, if you don't get out the gate that's it you've had it . Not a lot of atmosphere either, a massive difference to Scunny on Tuesday, I suppose the downside of the track being so close to houses, no airhorns allowed , all adds to the atmosphere imo. As for the Berwick team I really think you have a decent team, if you can get a good guest to cover Rickys spot for the next few weeks, I don't think there is anyone out there stronger than what you already have, decent second strings and decent reserves, I would stick with what you have , maybe its more to do with the track than the riders . Well dine Worky a fine TEAM performance
  4. Hopefully be warmer than Scunny on Tuesday !! Over 30 of us on the supporters bus and most likely some driving too so we should create a great atmosphere, not sure of a win but I would take a point from this and be happy . Stay safe boys, Come On The Comets
  5. Makes no odds, you never know how a rider is going to perform on the night so you can't say tbh, Richard and Chris could have been average last season but who knows what they would have scored, Hey we haven't done anything he loves it at Worky . Rene was the same last season though, he was a bit inconsistent at the start of the season but then got better and better, I think after the next set of averages you could see him in our no 1 jacket there is very little between him and Richard at the minute. I don think since his accident he takes as many chances riding the boards to overtake and doesn't seem to like the smaller tracks anymore either
  6. We did win we hammered Ippo last Sat and won Scunthorpe last night, it was the ref's dire decision that robbed us of the 3rd point
  7. Howe knew he should have been excluded, that was a ridiculous decision from the ref, which cost us a point. But we still took 2 points back to Worky which was the right call, Scunny were never out of our sights , makes me laugh when people say about the guests playing a big part, every team in speedway have guests , Worky are no different, just this time we have had two class acts , thank you Cookie and Micky
  8. Well sunny over in the west today, hows the weather doing over there please , looks okay on Accuweather ?? Supporters bus leaving at 1.50pm and I'l be on it , hope my nerves hold out , this is shaping up to be a cracker , hoping all 14 riders have a safe night and lets put on a good show for Sky to show what the PL is made of, (especially afer that shambles that was served up last night ) Best of luck Worky Boys , lets bring a point or two home !!
  9. Really what are you on !!! Richard and Craig are BOTH great riders , who gives a damn whos average is better, Richard is injured and Cookie is doing a fantastic job for us as his guest replacement, lets leave it at that, you are beginning to look rather embarrassing
  10. Think your finger got stuck on little green man !! You the truth, , I think you will find Cumbria is one of the nicest places to visit you should try it sometime, maybe next time when we thump you in the league . Hypocrite, you weren't twining about having a guest on Thursday though were you who scored heavily , clueless springs to mind,
  11. Looking forward to travelling over on the Worky supporters bus to make some noise, think both teams will put on a cracker for Sky and the viewers. Scunny is a track we sometimes do quite well at so lets hope Tuesday is our night . Stay safe boys and best of luck , come on Comets lets take the sting out of the Scorpions tail
  12. WELL , WELL , WELL, here I am , That has made my weekend !!! You lot really thought you had it in the bag didn't you and were totally outclassed by the BETTER team , nothing to do with home track advantage , Cookie and Micky don't ride DP every week but still managed to top score. I knew we would put up a fight but my god what a hammering the Witches got absolutely bloody brilliant , plenty of humble pie being eaten from the Southerners today . Well done lads each and everyone and a huge thanks to our guests . Now then Jackal/Aljack Ipswich team were best thing since sliced bread on Thursday didn't take you long to change your tune . I've got faceache today just can't seem to wipe this grin off my face !!!! Oh and Ipswich Jules....stick that in ya pipe and smoke it , hahahahaha
  13. Hey Tsunami , are you not watching the PL meeting on Sky , tut tut
  14. Yeah on 1st or 2nd bends , hardly overtaking or passing , gate and go tarts, hahahaha , my sides are splitting ,
  15. So after all his whinging last season aljack enjoys a gate and go meeting with only 3 passes and an Ipswich win , enjoy you're in for an exciting season then
  16. If the lads ride like they did last Saturday against Sheffield this is do-able so dont count ya chickens just yet Cookie knows DP very well and Dyer scored heavily for the bears when they were here early season, throw in the Kyle/Rusty pairing , Tero and Rene and wee Ashley will give Ellis a run for his money!! You better believe we won't give up without a fight, Come On Worky boys !!
  17. You really think so, obviously you haven't seen Tero riding lately Ash has been struggling with his gating but is well on the pace once out, has had a few dasy to recupperate after Tuesday Come on Comets keep it tight !!!
  18. Please remember it is only 4-5 weeks into the PL season , nowt like getting carried away !!!
  19. Losing Chris is a huge blow, with Stefan guesting and Ash probably still feeling the effects of his two crashes in the U21 final , I think we will do well to keep it within 15points, anything more could be too big a mountain to climb on Saturday . Come on Boys, stay safe and keep it close for Saturday
  20. I just don't think he would score what r/r is getting espcially on away tracks, Tully was a bit of a one track pony around Armadale and he maybe good round Brough but can't see him scoring double figures what r/r is getting at the minute
  21. Its all banter Spin king, I had banter with Dave on Thursday at Sheffield and then again we exchanged cheeky grins at the start of the meeting at Workington , but all friendly stuff nothing nasty, he was just bigging up his team as we big up ours, a nice guy and always great to listen to on the mic and it was nice to rub it in that his predictions were way off mark
