  1. Christ what on earth is wrong with you? You seem to have issues and seem a very angry individual. Absolutely no need to be calling people “simple”, none whatsoever.
  2. That will happen quite often I fear. We’ll pick up the odd point here and there but I’d be very surprised if we win an away meeting all season. The team has good home riders in it though and a good home season will suffice for our first season back in the top flight. On Belle Vue, I fully expect them to be much better next time around and it’ll be a tighter meeting I expect.
  3. Who is this aimed at? If it’s myself please acknowledge and I’ll reply accordingly. If it’s someone else, apologies in advance..
  4. With it only being a 7 team league and top 4 going in to play offs, it’s going to be tight so the name of the game is not only to win the meeting, but to try and stop the visitors picking up a consolation point. Some of these consolation points could be crucial come the end of the season.
  5. Well looks like a cracking day today with no threat of rain so the track staff can prepare a good surface hopefully. I’ve been pleased with what I’ve seen in the first couple of meetings, track has looked in good shape (particularly as it’s normally a bit ropey up and down the country early doors after the winter) and we’ve seen some good entertaining racing. Belle Vue look a good strong outfit but we look as though we’ll be a good home side which is a leveller so we could be in for a cracking meeting. Looking forward to it.
  6. Eh? It’s a league meeting with points at stake, and all you’re looking for is “track time and race fitness”? Pull the other one!
  7. Rory has been booked to guest IF Harris loses his fitness race.
  8. It’s the far left aisle where season ticket holders are ushered in. You then go in to the office at the end of the aisle where they’ll take your credit/debit card purchase. They really need to tighten up this policy however as I’ve seen many people abuse it and simply carry on walking in to the stadium and disappearing without paying! When I first paid with my debit card last year, I was told to go to said office and someone will take my payment. I went to the office only to find nobody there! I waited around looking in the track shop for 5 minutes which is of course INSIDE the stadium, until some lady finally appeared. I then went back in and paid my entrance fee. Staggering lack of organisation and security.
  9. No is the obvious answer to that one. He rode with a broken scaphoid! He’s now had surgery to “put it back together” He may be a tough lad, but the manager and promotion need to be tough enough to take these decisions out of the riders hands at times. It seems madness to even consider him on Thursday to me. If he rides and rides poorly and it costs us a result, then those in charge will deservedly come in for a lot of flack IMO. We’re still in April and it’s a long season, why even contemplate taking that risk?
  10. Maybe that should be taken out of his hands? We can’t afford to lose our opening league fixture at home and it’s going to be tough enough as it is against a good Belle Vue side. On the face of it the result last night looks poor, but to put it in to context, just four more points from a clearly unfit Harris would have seen us take a consolation point.
  11. They never said any such thing. Someone on here said it.
  12. I’d say that almost certainly rules him out then. Nicholls a shoe in to guest then I’d have thought?
  13. Think we might nick another win here.. It is Lynn after all
  14. The thing is under Ged you always felt he had one eye on strengthening up whenever possible and he was never afraid to make changes. Under Buster? Who knows!
  15. Ahh thought perhaps it was name change. Thank you
  16. Anyone know what happened to a poster called “screamer”? Or maybe he’s still posting but changed his/her username? Can remember him being a very passionate Lynn fan a few years ago
  17. What you have to take in consideration, is that the Ipswich riders were specifically told to use the Leicester meeting to experiment and try different set ups in readiness for the real stuff hence the closer score It obviously worked
  18. Was going to say the same, Tungate and Harris probably similar stats wise, but you’d watch Harris over Tungate all day long.
  19. TBH I’m a bit confused with all the ifs buts and maybes over this. Think I’ll just watch heat 14 and leave all this voting nonsense to you lot.
