  1. I think it does personally. We still have A strong reserve now Allen drops back there, and Sargeant actually rides Ipswich pretty well. If he doesn’t, he’ll get three rides and Allen will get an extra ride. In theory anyway! Getting Iversen in may also give the others a lift, particularly Harris who should now feel less pressure and gets away from number 1.
  2. So is that Jake Allen back down to reserve alongside Sarjeant? Iversen Lawson Harris Heeps King Allen Sargeant Could work.
  3. KP can consider himself a touch unfortunate IMO. There’s others I’d have preferred to see go before him.
  4. I can understand to a degree those that were put off by the Peterborough line up and decided to keep their money in their pockets. I seriously thought about it too TBF. But those that did decide to stay away missed a pretty decent meeting. Ive looked forward to some great looking fixtures this season and on a lot of occasions I’ve walked out of the stadium disappointed at what was served up. This was the opposite. Maybe because the expectations were low who knows Just goes to show that you never know
  5. Enjoyable meeting with some good racing. Glad I went.
  6. It should indeed. Harris should be good for double figures and that will make a big difference to us. Could be very close either way.
  7. He got there in the end! I do like KP I have to say. More than happy to keep him in the side next year.
  8. Haven’t been in the top flight section for a few years while we’d (Ipswich) dropped down, but I always remember you used to praise the Wolves track as one of the best ones in the division!
  9. They’re gonna be on a hiding to nothing here! Absolutely impossible to do much with those sort of temperatures. I don’t envy them Thursday.
  10. But that’s not exclusive to Poole is it? Some of you carry on as if it’s only Poole who are weakened and everyone else is either at full strength, and actually “stronger” due to guests and R/R! The knives were out for Worrall before his injury. We went many meetings without Jake Allen who at the time wasn’t just the best reserve in the league, he was one of the in form riders full stop! The likes of Josh Bates were brought in for meetings and were scoring next to nothing and we still managed to pick up points most meetings. Wolves have had problems, Swindon also, Peterborough have had rotten luck during, and even before the season even started. It’s not exclusive to just Poole. And yes, Poole have done very well to battle through their recent problems to still pick up points, no doubt about it.
  11. Everyone is entitled to the odd off night they all have them. He’s generally been very good all season and pretty consistent. Much better than I was expecting in all honesty.
  12. Will be interesting to hear what went wrong tonight Taps when he does his column, like I said hes usually half decent around Wolves and has just come off a 15 point maximum for Sheffield so would have thought full of confidence. Strange one. Just a mention for Richard Lawson. He’s really impressed me this season and he’s produced much more than I was expecting. Had the odd stinker like all the lads have at some stage, but in the main he’s been consistently decent.
  13. Poole, Swindon, Ipswich and Belle Vue you’d think odds on for the play offs
  14. Great to bounce back with a very handy 2 points on the road but what on earth happened to King? Usually pretty good value around Wolves.
  15. That seems to have been a copy and paste for every meeting they’ve shown live so far this season bar the NSS.
  16. It did and it’s a great shame. The same can be said for Kings Lynn always used to look forward to going there too but that’s gone down the pan as well. Seems to be a general problem these days
  17. Possibly although nothing was mentioned and the riders didn’t seem to see a red light
  18. Bizarre decision. Surely Wright is the cause of the stoppage and should be excluded? They’re not even questioning that decision in commentary either
  19. Well done boys! Yet another meeting we’ve taken something from. Like I said earlier, fancy us against any side in this league over two legs. Great effort.
  20. Exactly right Baldy. The away efforts are done. As long as we win the remaining fixtures at Foxhall then we’re not finishing 5th or lower. Would be nice to top the table though of course, but I’d fancy us to beat any other team in this league over two legs. One injury though can scupper everything so you always need that bit of luck. Not bad for a rag bag team that is “cannon fodder” and “guaranteed to win the wooden spoon” though
  21. It’s just a pity clubs don’t pay hard cold cash for your “assets” anymore. I’m sure someone will pick him up every year though so the loan fees will come in handy. One odious little toad him.
  22. Would be more than happy with a point but no points at all wouldn’t be a disaster. We had 3 consecutive away meetings, Peterborough, this and Belle Vue before we ride again at home. Before Peterborough if you’d said we’d take a point from each to keep us ticking along I think most would probably have taken it. We took 4 away from the Showground so anything from this and Belle Vue would be an added bonus.
