I understand it will bother some people, to me personally I couldnt care less who it is. Ideally Rory would be lining up on Thursday but hes injured and we need a guest. To me its 5 Witches and a.n other/guest used to do a job for our injured rider. For me its irrelevant who that is. Like I say I understand Ill be in the minority here.

Nicholls isnt a contracted Peterborough rider though nor a Witches rider. Guests are a necessity unfortunately and both clubs have needed one. Does it really matter who that guest is? Not really. The Peterborough team does have a look of throwing in the towel a bit which is a shame. Is there seriously nobody half decent available they could have brought in? Not convinced an awful lot of effort was made tbh.

Holder was pretty good on his last Foxhall visit if I remember rightly? Bit optimistic for Rory to be fit for Thursday with a badly sprained ankle? Maybe if its well strapped he maybe ok well have to see. If hes out well need a good guest to cover his Foxhall scoring power. Or would it be a guest for Sedgman and R/R for Schlein? Edit: I have no idea why my apostrophes are not working! My iPhone emojis dont display either yet I can see them from others..

We at Ipswich have the same dilemma. Weve been a Thursday night track ever since we were formed so a big decision by the promotion. Even though weve still had more Thursday meetings than any other day, weve had quite a number of home meetings this year on off nights and the attendance hasnt visibly suffered. The jungle drums has us moving back up though so time will tell. Will be interesting to see which way Sheffield decide to go too.

Blessing in disguise as King is currently struggling with illness which in turn is affecting his performances as he acknowledged last night. Gives him another week to get fit and healthy.

Or he couldn’t be arsed riding for the club from the day he signed, RESULTING in the supporters not wanting him to ride for us. If you look back at the time he signed, plenty (including myself) thought he was a decent replacement for Covatti. Oh how wrong we were! Only so many times you can watch a rider miss the gate and blatantly give up and coast for 4 laps before it starts to grate..

What Would You Change In Speedway Next Season?
Arch Stanton replied to 4thbender's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Christ almighty! Time of the month dear? Of course its irrelevant unless youre trying to say that wearing individual leathers was a factor in Speedway booming in those days ? By the way havent you got some ironing to be getting on with? Yep definitely Andy. -

Whether Speedway was booming back then or not is totally irrelevant to what was being discussed. -

Looks a complete mess to be honest. Team suits for me. -
Absolute waster!!

Schlein out for the rest of the season. Just one last kick in the nuts for the Witches before the winter. When its not your year, its not your year! Glad its almost over.

Peterborough Panthers 2018

Totally agree what’s the issue here? Hand over the money you received Ged to pay the fine. He’s not going to be out of pocket is he? Agree on the second point too, probably should have been more! -
Ipswich V Sheffield Po Final 2nd Leg 30-9-17
Arch Stanton replied to Super Blue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well done Sheffield the best team in the league and fully deserved. -
Quite right Badge was going to say something similar. They get plenty out on Twitter.

Thursday is a meeting we could really do with Nico. Our best rider there. Makes you realise just how well weve done to finish second this season when for most of it we replaced Nico with that whopper Sedgmen!!

Hope so. This kid is a talent and itll be great to see what he can do. Hes outperformed Mountain a number of times at Mildenhall this year and hes tipped for a big future. Big ask obviously at 16 to step straight in to a pressure cauldron of a play off final in a higher league, but alternatively it would be a good test of his character and readiness for next season. Interesting that next Saturday is now the SECOND leg of the final rather than the first (if as expected Sheffield finish the job in the semi), will the promotion be delighted or disappointed with that? On one hand it could be the chance to win the title and parade the trophy in front of our own supporters, but also if we get battered at Sheffield and the tie is all but over (with the way they're riding its entirely possible), it could affect what was expected to be a huge money spinner for the club with the biggest attendance at Foxhall for years.

Jordan Jenkins will be the best 2 pointer next year..
