No Sedgmen at Scunny tomorrow so R/R. Suffering from "shoulder problems"..

Not getting my money today either they can stuff it. Don't care if it makes Peterborough stronger or weaker, I was looking forward to watching him and very much wanted him in the Panthers line up.

LOL never seen such a big bunch of fannies get over it! Louis has made one error, and that was to not wait for official confirmation from the BSPA before telling the riders. That is a huge error that Louis will know himself. He's been a promoter now for a good few years and this is the first error of this kind I can recall him making. He's entitled to an error or two surely? Has nobody on here ever made an error in their lives or are you all perfect? He's not the only promoter either, good old Ged has made his fair share too! Everyone makes them that's life. All of this "bang out of order sacking riders close to deadline" stuff is pure and utter sh!te. Is it harsh for a rider to lose his job with little time to find another club? Of course it is. But Louis' job is to do what's best for Ipswich Witches, NOT Justin Sedgmen or Connor Mountain as harsh as it may be. If he could have improved the team and chances of being successful then he had every right to try. Give me that type of promoter every single time than those that are loyal to individual riders to the detriment of the team. Ironically this has been an accusation made by many on here over the years that we rarely make changes and just stick with what we've got. Fair play to Louis for trying to be successful and attempting to improve what we had. As I've said he made a grave error not waiting for approval before telling the two riders but I'm sure that won't be repeated and he'll have learned from his mistake. -
"Social media sports fans are sooooo brutal. I love it. Its a whole new world of whacky entertainment! CRAZeeeeeeeeeeeee! Well Chris has finally pipped up on Twitter. LOL

Is Mike Smillie still there? There isn't a single thing that bloke doesn't know about stats and the rule book and I know that everything Ipswich do goes through him before any plans are submitted. There is simply no way that Mike would have made this mistake. My only guess is that he somehow was not involved in this debacle and the results are quite frankly embarrassing.

No idea Rob but I'd be surprised to say the least if either of Tungate or Jacobs wore Witches colours anytime soon. the timing of Carl Wilkinsons tweet this evening seems too much of a coincidence for me so maybe he was one of the targeted riders.. Surprised that Connor was being released though. After an expected slow start he's began to ride well at reserve but as Bash says I guess he was just going to be victim of the numbers game. Gotta agree with the comments above though why on earth tell riders they're dropped before getting the thumbs up from the BSPA? Absolutely bizarre.

Wouldnt have been either of those two I'd put my house on it.

Think the defeat against your lot was probably the straw that broke the camels back here.

TBF was always going to take Mountain a good chunk of the season to get back to the potential he showed last year. Was a really nasty injury he suffered last year and was advised to give the start of the season a miss. Unfortunately some don't have any patience and wrote him off as a duffer far far too early. -

Nearly got to see Scotty tomorrow. Was asked and agreed to guest for King after his spill at Newcastle. -
Risager? I know he's not overly popular with some either but I'd take Morten over Sedgman in a heartbeat.

Seems to have an awful lot of tracks that he dislikes. He's been a disaster. -

Bit harsh. King's heat 11 fall was clearly pivotal. Self inflicted it seems so can't complain but was clearly a turning point as having to throw Mountain in heat 13 is obviously not ideal. Another point on the road and 4 points from two away meetings over the weekend keeps things ticking over nicely. -

Amazing isn't it that when Sedgman replaced Covatti there were a couple of clowns (Peterborough supporters funnily enough!) who tried to make out that the change made us stronger. Sedgman ain't fit to pull on Nico's right glove. Or his left come to that! He was actually our best "away" rider I believe and his absence can't be understated. We definitely would have had a few more away points on the board with him in the team without a doubt. But that's speedway I suppose. -

Probably both considering the big lead and then being 2 down going in to final heat. Got to say well done to Berwick though to fight back brilliantly against all the odds! -

Must admit I'm a little surpised a fair few it seems will be giving this a miss, especially after the cracking meeting last time out. They've worked on the track and it seems to have settled down and produced a corker against Worky. I'd never dream of telling people what to do with their hard earned, I miss meetings myself. But I find the timing a little strange coming off such a good meeting that was well received by everybody. I'll be there tomorrow for that very reason, hoping for more of the same. Fingers crossed the weather doesn't hinder track prep too much. -

Not a bad guess like! Gotta be happy picking up a point. Keep winning at Foxhall and picking up points here and there on the road should be enough. To pick up a point at both Glasgow and Peterborough recently is decent, two tough places to go. -

We've got some good Showground performers in our side so we'll be competitive. Can't see a victory but we've got to be looking to take something. Panthers by 6. -
