  1. Think we’ll make a better fist of it here than others have, but still can’t see us winning. Rew’s first time here and I don’t think the track will suit him to put it mildly, and although it was a long time ago, Emil struggled around here with Coventry scoring 5 and failing to win a race. If Becker is a bit rusty after his lay off that will help us mind you.
  2. It should in theory be a track Rew will take to, it suits his style. whereas Monmore on Monday you’d expect him to struggle. We’ll see.
  3. This is a track that should suit Rew. Good from an Ipswich point of view that’s he’s getting a look at the place before we visit.
  4. If they’d have uploaded those pictures yesterday afternoon and announced a postponement, nobody would have batted an eyelid. To think when I got there just before 7 and Bob was watering the track is quite remarkable.
  5. Bob is a legend. Works his guts out for next to little reward. Your work is appreciated by those that know fella. Thank you. on the rain, never known a start to the season like it! You know what rain means, hose pipe ban!
  6. Good lad Keynan. Love this kid, may not grow in to a superstar who knows, but if he sticks around he’ll be a very good Premiership rider who’ll get better.
  7. Well that’s done and dusted. Bring on Sheffield in the final.
  8. People forget that Foxhall holds more than any stadia in the country. Tonight’s attendance is a good night for most others.
  9. Well he isn’t a “reserve” is he let’s get that right. He started as a reserve because of a crafty bit of shenanigans by Lynn. Who’d have thunk it!!
  10. It’s hit and miss, can be bone dry one side of the road and soaked the other. But as Taps says, I’ve been in town centre and the drains have been overflowing! Guinness is going down very well though
  11. We had the same forecast down here in Suffolk for yesterday, scattered thundery showers some heavy. We never had a single drop here in Ipswich but I know others a bit further afield did. Same is forecast for today but they’re so hit and miss they’re impossible to call. If you get caught in one, it seems it would completely wash the track away! But you MIGHT be lucky and escape them completely, or you could encounter a quick flood. 50/50..
  12. As frustrating as it is, I think you’ll have to be patient just a little while longer. A quality rider maybe available from June.
  13. We see this so often from Doyley at Foxhall now that when he misses the gate you just expect it to happen! An old cliche, but he really is worth the admission on his own.
  14. https://ipswichwitches.co/raceday-preview-peterborough-knockout-cup-semi-final-first-leg-h/ Riss returns, R/R for Pedersen.
  15. The forecast has indeed changed, as often happens. When you postpone meetings more than 24 hours in advance you always run the risk of that happening. The first band of rain that was due to hit lunchtime isn’t now predicted, but rain IS still set for late evening so they may yet be proven correct, not that it really matters now. The forecast yesterday morning did look dreadful to be fair.
  16. Riss isn’t completely ruled out according to that preview, although his participation is classed as “slim”. Agree with you on the weather though, doesn’t look good at all.
