I can't see how we will get close to the points limit anyway personally
-
But Bacon is 28? I can understand 25 maybe.
-
I get that, it doesn't make much sense to me. Should have just been 4,3,2 and 1 on the averages. Bates and Brennan will be the best by far, then Bacon, Kemp, and Pailin/Kinsley afterwards.
-
I'd rather seeing Palin improve and benefit from a season in the top flight, who's young and could make it far in the sport. Bacon might make a reserve in the top division but otherwise can he really improve.....

Certainly some riders who wasn't chosen who could have been better choices. -

Ryan Kinsley for the rising star -
Tom Bacon it is

I take it all back! Welcome Jordan Palin to the showground. Be a chance to ride with your dads heroes
-
Its the logical choice in all honesty. Id prefer to go for a real youngsters and nurture them BUT can't see it.
-
All rising stars to be announced in the near future apparently, according to other teams.
-
If he signs.... I don't think it matters what's left really. Team to beat
-
Stronger heatleaders than the Panthers in the next division.....
-
Crump signs! Wowza
-
I'm hoping Scotty over Ully.....

Bombers Back.

so with the 'Rising Stars' list, I assume Tom Bacon (aged 28) will be the rising star for the Panthers. How apt really, the oldest 'Rising Star' signing for 'Dads Army'.
-
I think was more a case before he injures himself in fairness.
-
Agreed..... only in Speedway, can come up with potentially a good idea then absolutely ruin it by allowing that.
-
Josh Bates ..... Rising Star whoever signs him will have an advantage from the off.
-
Nope, not based in the UK which came into the equation. They had to release a rider anyway due to the new young rising star rule.

Nothing gained, nothing lost with this signing IMO. Low 4s, will probably have the beating of all `Young Brits' and a few other reserves which means will maintain his average at worse. Could you do better on a 4.00 average, possibly, but could they average 6.00 like Lewis has the potential to if it all clicks, probably not. -
Looks that way anyway
-
Cant see how you can have a team with Ulle in and get anywhere near the average. Unless Bjarne is being reassessed and coming in on a 8.00 average. I do get its not all about getting near the average set out by the BSPA, but seems silly wasting points.
-
Agreed, then still have around 6 points for someone else before the young brit. Still the average age will be around 38....
