  1. Pickard or Johnson would be good. Wed have 2 places left, think we will be using 2 new riders, although Reade wld be a gd option. Didn't Morris & Branford come in on 3s because of british passports. So perhaps we could have some more aussies?
  2. Agreed, Gutted for you Henning, Ive seen you ride a couple of times over here & have always found you entertaining & a 100% trier What a stupid system we have in place Only in the UK, would we have such an illogical inconsistent system, and uphold it so bureaucratically.
  3. Scunthorpe? Newcastle? Plymouth? Would be my guesses but im unsure as too which id favour.
  4. Doubt it will be matched as a pairing on paper (i.e.averages) 2bh. Agreed we could have a long tail. Depends on Herne's Ave for next year, as too how long i think. Think we can safely assume JWW & Tom Young will be back
  5. Kurtz will be no more expensive than last year at NL level, or any increase wouldnt be that significant. Herne logically i would say yes. Awesome looking top two
  6. Kurtz confirmed http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.9946

  8. Yeah true, i agree with your point it will undoubtedly be financially hard hitting. Hopefully twice weekly matches will be kept to a minimum. But whatever day of the week it is, if it runs twice a week it will have the same effect, the people who couldnt afford to go last year wont be likely to be able to this year . My preference for those days is because im 22, im in uni & im off on fridays. Im fortunate that i will most probs be able too cos im a student, & even if i couldnt then my dad would probs pay. Hopefully they have got a plan in place because i know a few people already have seen the PL prices and gone ouch, but ive said on the PL thread about what people perceive as Value For Money is what is the factor in the decision not the outright increase in cost. And IMHO they didnt have a choice as a business. Having studied Business Studies/Economics & Accounting i can see past just the increase. For an Adult in comparison to last year in match terms at PL level it would take you until your 14th home meeting before you lose a match compared to last year. Hopefully the increase in cost for PL prices will be compensated with the hornets, or they can come up with a discounted price for attending the NL match as well as the PL, etc. They actively promoted last year after we were saved i hope that continues.
  9. I hope they go friday evenings & use the bank holiday mondays personally. Anyways massive thankyou to the Malletts for keeping us going in the NL in 2011
  10. Id agree solid looking team. Morley's on a bargain average for next year.
  11. Pleased Any idea what Jay is coming in on anyone???? One would assume Kurtzy will be riding again.Which would be an awesome top two JWW & Tom Young would seem likely too. Who Else though? Pickard, Webster/ A.N. Other???? Plus 1 other??? Any ideas.
  12. thankyou for clarification Wanna i wondered where it had dissapeared too
  13. Yep that wouldnt have gone amiss. My take on it is this: A lot of what was said regarding the hornets came from Nick, and not from Steve, i believe that if things had been as clearcut as you think their intentions were, then they would have just decided 2 months ago.IMO the decision came down to the day. They had always stated they wanted to keep NL, but stating your intent & philosophy doesn't always fall in line with the cost or being able to do what you want within a multi-purpose league. Also just to clarify on your point regarding contradictions Speaking to someone without permission as a club is not the same as giving that person permission to speak to clubs.
  14. Cheers for the review again excellent as always BFD. Great result for Kyle
  15. Well they had to turn up to make a decision, considering the future of the hornets was dependant on the rules set for 2011. The only place they could do that was at the agm. Yep they did that because if they were running this year then they might & probably will use him,None of our assets were given permissions to speak to anyone. So there is nothing special about that.
  16. We haven't had official confirmation one would assume that it is the case. But id like to see it in black & white.
  17. If he is coming over hope its too us if we are running, if not then hopefully to the potters.
  18. That'd be interesting the return of brundle......
  19. Awesometastic 1st signing he was immense last year when he rode in the pairs at QM & in the KO cup.
  20. Awesometastic signing for you & great for the NL in 2011
  21. Given his pl form end of last year he's the signing of 2011 at NL level imo.
  22. Seems like its been a great few days, BFD Have to agree that its great to see so many seniors supporting the meets.
