  1. So nothing to shout about ther then Captain of a team that was totally out classed in the World Cup. No GP titles and a few meaningless British titles ( apologies to young Lawson for calling it English , LOL)
  2. Well I cant imagine why you think I would have won any British/English titles. I am certainly not disputing the fact that Nicholls puts every effort into his racing. I don't know any rider that does not. Its just that some riders have more talent than others and are winners , not whinging also rans. Well perhaps thats a little harsh , just a not quite there yet rider would be a better and more civilised way of putting it. toddle pip !
  3. Family bereavement is certainly not a suitable topic to bring to this forum IMO. I will say no more about that save every sane thinking person would be sympathetic to anyone in that situation. The rest of the stuff is just a repeat of what you have already posted. Who's to say , Crump made his decision and rode , it was his call , but to the best of my knowledge he never complained or made a fuss about it. And no, never won any British titles myself , but then Im not a Speedway rider.
  4. LoL , hardly a prestigious title , like I said until this year when Harris won it he was probably the best England had to offer. Every rider is human , they all have issues to deal with but don't keep carping on about it. Crump just had a very painful knee cap , Pedersen had painful arm surgery and your saying Nicholls had painful child birth !! Think you need to give me a break
  5. Yes hes done all that , as well as writing the biggest ever book of excuses. All riders have injuries , personal isseus and its up to them to sort out their mechanicial problems. Unforunately I would liken him to Tim Henman , one of the best England has but ... well who knows he may come good one day but I dont see it happening.
  6. Being an animal lover I feel sorry for the poor old horse. Hes certainly gone through a lot and still manages to plough on with little to show .
  7. Some people will always find something to moan about , perhaps they ought to try doing the job. I dont mind who comments or presents as long as we see the races. Oh and yes I thought she did a professional job
  8. Proberbly because at the end of the day no one takes Nicholls that seriously Lets face it the best hes ever achived is a very lucky second in a GP and that was down to refere error
  9. Its up to him what method he chooses to use , but simple fact is he got it wrong.
  10. I dont think Tony Steel is a biased ref. but as we are geting used to biased comentry on sky maybe a little of that is rubbing off on him. A terrible call , Nicholls lumped straight into him, knocked him off and then got put back in the re-run.
  11. Why would things be any different , England had 90% of the crowd behind them at Reading. They proberbly had 2/3% in Poland. They were still unable to win either meeting. Nicholls comments were not about nationalistic support ', anyway.
  12. LOL so you dont remember Crumps dummy spitting in the GPs , even pushed his poor Grandad !!
  13. too true , I would hate to see Speedway supporters degenerate to the level of so call football suporters. I always make a point of speaking to any away supporters who attend meetings at Foxhall and Ive never had any problems with any. The louts should be ashamed of themselves.
  14. yes I agree with that , General .. Chris has been superb around Foxhall this year and last. Hes also done very well in several away league meetings , but this was not a league meeting. In the main 4 good riders in each heat and one of them HAS to finish last. f
  15. at least she knows more about it , and has more than the one line of Jane " are you going to change anything" Oobbydoobi
  16. well these things even themselves out in the end , it didnt affect the final result
  17. Why , its a free counrty last time I looked ... anyone is welcome to support whoever they wish.
  18. well tonight the sword triumphed , Hans Andersen captain of the World Cup winners
