Lakeside V Swindon 16 Sept 2016
Red Robin replied to Speedwaycrazy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Totally agree, well said. -
Really enjoyed the meeting, smaller crowd but a lovely warm evening, good racing, no queues at the burger van, glad I went, especially if this is to be the last meeting at the Abbey. Lot of jeers when it was announced that Poole had signed Lindback. Hope Morris can repeat that score tonight at Lakeside if it is on. COYR !!

Just hope Tungate rides like that for us on Monday. Sure PK wouldn't have scored so well. -

I feel mad for Jason and all the team, what a late time to decide to blade the track and keep people stood waiting inside , SHOCKING!!!! -
Nothing wrong with the track last night, Just that they were losing so "Blame the track"
-
The Ref was shocking, delayed the tapes so long there were a lot of re-runs,made the meeting take much longer and IMO spoiled the meeting together with the real winner "The rain".

In The Advertiser ,Tungate was reportedly having an MRI scan on his shoulder in Poland during the early part of last week,It was mentioned in Nick's birthday news. Has anyone heard anything further ? -

Some of the nasty Leicester fans on here should read the Live Updates, the texter on there said the booing of Jason was unnecessary. A lot of "Sour Grapes" on here still. Jason is a Swindon asset and the Swindon fans have wanted him back for a long time, he is an excellent No 1 and we , quite rightly, are delighted with the win. For anyone to suggest that Tungate is not injured is absolute rubbish, he has had his shoulder strapped for a couple of weeks now, so any comments that he is not injured is not true. -

Think you will find Tungate only got 4 for Somerset last night, not a maximum as you say, he had his shoulder strapped up. -

Yes A Orlov, I agree, he certainly is one gutsy rider, I admire him for not letting his team down, really wish him and the Roobins a win at K.L. -

Totally agree, some of the comments on here are not only offensive to Rosco and all Swindon Fans (me included) but very, very KINDERGARTEN. -

Darren Hartley apparently. What an embarassment to the sport.!!! -
Very proud of our patched up Robins team tonight, well deserved win at a very difficult track, not many teams go there and win.

Personally I am happy with Zengota. been doing well for us . Pleased for him.
