  1. Well I wish the 'Grin' all the very best anyway.
  2. Sigh. I do - I went every week until about three years ago. I have been attending Speedway on and off for 50 years. Not the last three years I admit, but I doubt things have changed very much in those years. Certainly not reading Posts on here. As I said - your point isn't valid. A sensible answer would be good. You accused me of doctoring Posts. Again I ask where? Or is this just another of your silly little games?
  3. If that is true, it is really sad. Chris Morton was one of Belle Vue's greatest ever Riders. Chris Morton was instrumental in getting the National Speedway Stadium up and running. I think you are probably right - but those people who would give him stick are idiots in my opinion. Whatever happened to gratitude? Or is gratitude another of those outmoded things these days?
  4. No you don't. I even highlighted the part of your Post I was commenting onto make it easy for you. You really can be a bit dim sometimes. Sorry.
  5. I can't disagree with your comment. I would say exactly the same to you - but crucially you have already buggered of to another Country haven't you.
  6. Of course I would - I follow the Speedway Press, I talk to Supporters all of the time. Your point isn't valid
  7. 1964 - when I started watching Speedway - up to 1979 for me. Happy days - sadly no more.
  8. I don't know - but 15 is a jolly good score, even at home. More than anyone else on here anyway.
  9. I don't need to grow any - I have called you out as a Bully and a Troll. I do not detract that comment as it is perfectly true. As for others calling folk names - that is up to them and not me.
  10. There were, I agree. Crucially though, there are far more poor Meetings these days.
  11. Go to the top of the class norbold. WELL DONE!!! :approve:
  12. Thank you for Posting that r&r. I managed 11 too. Fancy him not knowing 'Split' Waterman.
  13. They, or any Championship Team don't matter. They will be sacrificed on the altar of the Premier League. That League, sadly, is the only League that matters as far as they are concerned. Come back 1964.
  14. No - I used to go every week. Double Points put a stop to that sadly.
  15. No probs iris123. Try this 'Link': http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=81452&hl=oldest ro this: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=73713&page=2&hl=oldest&do=findComment&comment=2565100
  16. I have read that too. It is a load of absolute bollux - Jack was never afraid of anyone - certainly not bloody Frank Aufrett. Frank attended one of our Sunderland Reunions - he didn't have a good thing to say about Jack then, even though Jack died in tragic circumstances - and obviously still carries a grudge. Very sad really.
  17. I was thinking of Doug too. His Brother Willie Templeton was a pretty tough operator also.
  18. Ove Fundin must have a few years under his belt I would think. 'Varg' Olle Nygren too I reckon.
  19. I watch it on the Television. THAT's how I know.
