Why worry about the weather? Just give Poole the trophy, apparently Redcar can’t even get a guest for Riss.Said weeks ago, it doesn’t matter about getting to the important matches, they were never going to win anything with the failure to replace Riss on a permanent basis.If and when the match is staged, can see Poole scoring at least 55.

So,are Redcar going to show some fight? Or just going to lay down like they have done. For me the key could be King and Edward’s who have both been poorl over the last few important meetings?

Redcar had a 14 point lead after 10 heats,fell apart in the last 5,losing 11-19, and Masters only finished third in heats 13/15.Going to make for an interesting second leg on Sunday,I don’t think 6 points is enough of a lead.

Great performance by the Bears,just got to wonder what might of happened if we had our original guest! Sure Morris would have done better than 3Points!! Ironically when we were at Glasgow in the league the same rider(Zischke)scored double figures against us guesting for Glasgow!!

As usual it’s difficult for the average fan to know the ‘rules,people often ask me because they know I’ve been going to speedway for over 50 years and most of the time my answer is,I haven’t got a clue!!Maybe someone could help me out with this question?I believe in the play-offs you can’t use a guest from the other semi finalists? Does that also apply for the BSN trophy and the KO Cup?I ask because of Redcar’s situation of qualifying for all 3 semifinals and needing to get guest’s for Erik Riss.

Great performance tonight,but the failure to make any team changes is going to cost the Bears, they are going to be in the mix for all the trophies, but trying to rely on getting decent quality guests or running with R/R is not going to work!!

Great result for the Bears tonight, well done everybody.Just shows the lottery of the guest system though,got lucky with the choice this time,but they surely can’t keep gambling like this?Bears in semi’s of the KO Cup,BSN trophy and probably the playoffs.It will be even harder to get good guests then with more restrictions.Just hope they haven’t left it to late to make a team change(or two!) Now and again! I take it you didn’t get my attempt at irony???
