  1. So please give me a little insight to what's special about Armadale? Is it the layout, the surface, track prep, what? From previous threads I do know it's not the chips, best avoided apparently.
  2. So next up for the Pirates.....the Monarchs(&visa versa) should be a great night of speedway, but who will come out on top? Edinburgh not having Dan Thompson and Poole having Tate Zishcke as a guest. This could prove to be really telling result for the rest of the season. Personally I think Edinburgh are going to do well in 2026, certainly the most successful Scottish club?! What do you think?
  3. So if this info is correct we then have Newman and Bowes as reserves? Does that make Poole a more or less effective point scoring machine?
  4. Just read the exact same exchange of comments on the Poole Vs Glasgow thread. Are all Scottish team's the same? I don't think so Edinburgh seem on the up.
  5. Vinnie good entertainment if a little low on talent, I wish him all the best he does give it his all.
  6. Sorry but you are right, if it wasn't for Harris and Flint it would have given embarrassment a whole new meaning. Hagon is I think worse now than when he was a Pirate, there has to be a better rider available. The play-offs seem a long shot for the Tigers this year.
  7. Nobody really gains from a one-sided competition. Glasgow (the fans) deserve better obviously it would be great if Cami were to go (he does make some bloody odd calls) but maybe they missed a trick when let Dan Thompson go, should it really have been Harris? I know Harris brings plenty as a Captain beyond points, and can on the odd occasion still match most top championship riders, but Dan is on the up and he now makes Edinburgh a more formidable team too. Just a thought?!*#
  8. Well for me getting old doesn't stop me doing the things I've always done, but.......doing it two days on the trot may well be an issue. Maybe Harris should focus on fewer events, and so get better results?
  9. But surely Glasgow are better than that? I think they are owed a big performance but to be honest I'm not expecting it to be on Wednesday. In fact I'm not really expecting them to be in the play-offs this year, Edinburgh and Plymouth look more dangerous to me, the question is who will be the fourth team? Verdict for Wednesday is Poole 50+.
  10. Glasgow so far haven't gone as well as you'd expect, with the exception of home against Berwick. So maybe they are due a big performance? But I'm not expecting it to materialize on Wednesday. Losing Dan Thompson was a big lose. The track will have had plenty of sun sure, but at least it's going to be predictable, so providing the water starts going on well in advance so it can soak down, track ought to be better than Kneeler predicts. Copper was fit enough for SON2 so should be there, presumably helping out with RR for Bowes.
  11. Poole.,..... Plymouth, Redcar & Edinburgh.
  12. Well I'm thinking that was a bit of a result especially considering their lack of experience, pity Cooper only got the one ride. Back to Pirate matters, it'll be great having Rushen back on Wednesday as I'm guessing it will be r/r for Bowes.
  13. I see Cairns Rushen and Harrison are competing in the SON2 event in Prague tonight. Will be interesting to see how they go. Great to hear that Cooper is race fit again. Poole having their two youngest riders representing GB confirms what we all knew, they are the cream of the crop.
