Glasgow V Edinburgh - League Cup 3pm, 3rd April
cheggie replied to george.m's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Your anagram order for Edinburgh is correct! Should be a cracking meeting - c'mon the Tigers!! -
I am positive that Stewart will be on top of things to ensure the team click from the off. But a wee bit of healthy competition will drive the guys on and as mentioned, Aaron (as potential captain) and Richard are great team guys too.
-
Anyone else fancy guessing the riding order, should be straight forward though due to having such a decent top four:- 1. Lawson 9.12 2. Lunna 4.5 3. Barker 7.56 4. Worrall 6.84 5. Summers 8.37 6. Garcia 3 7. Ayres 3 And could maybe swap Nikka and Richie round away from home, depending on opposition and their team order? Really excited about this year in terms of the team and the changes - hoping to get along to Ashfield at some point this year!
-
How about:- Lawson 9.12 Sarjeant 5 R Worrall 6.84 MPT 5.96 Aaron 8.37 Dimitri Berge 4.14 British Res 3 = 42.43

No thanks to the Fish, maybe a few seasons ago - but not now! And his average is wee bit too high - as our first two names for 2016 will surely be Richard and Aaron. As I suggested in my original post, I'd also like to see Kozza back, as will be a bargain on that average and hopefully add a couple of points on to it. And if there is too a similiar fast track system introduced for the Premier League, that would give us a base of :- 1. Richard 9.12 2. 3. 4. Kozza 5.87 5. Aaron 8.37 6. 7. Brit 3 Total 26.36 Leaves 16.14 Be interesting to see the combinations to make up the other three positions.

I would like to see something like this for next year, but I think the fact that our top three have high averages - it could be a problem of being slightly too top heavy like previous seasons of old. Richard Lawson 9.12 James Sarjeant 5 Nick Morris 7.91 Kozza Smith 5.87 Aaron Summers 8.37 That leaves 6.23 based on current averages for reserves.

cheggie replied to SharpenRake's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
r/r at home at least might be better, guests are always hit and miss - as Richard, Aaron, James and Victor could cover the programmed rides of Nick? Given time though until Kauko and Hynek is dialled in - could be an option for however long Nick is out for? -

How it will work now with regards to points limit, with Dimitri quitting the team and returning to France at the weekend?? As it stands, team looks like this Nick 8.5 James 5.93 Aaron 7.2 David 7.33 Richard 8.33 Victor 3.95 A N Other Totals - 41.24 leaving 1.26? Do we get up to 4.81 of Dimitri's average to find a replacement?
-
Never nice hearing a rider getting injured, but getting Christian to reserve might be a decent outcome. Could line up something like this, depending on rider availability..... 1. S Worrall 7.43 2. 3. L Kerr 7.06 4. Anton Rosen 6.07 5. L Lindgren 7.32 6. C Henry 5.07 7. S Nielsen 3.82 36.77 5.73 left

Berwick V Glasgow (sat April 4) League Cup
cheggie replied to crescent girl's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Glasgow: 1. Richard Lawson, 2. Kozza Smith, 3. Aaron Summers (captain), 4. Dimitri Berge 5. Nick Morris, 6. Victor Palovaara, 7. Ellis Perks (guest). -
That was pretty much my thoughts as well, except I would have Aaron at 3 and Kozza at 4.
-
Does that mean the average for Lewis Rose should be 4.15 minus the 0.21 reduction, to give 3.94?? To give - Lewis Kerr 7.54 Christian Henry 6.24 Ludvig Lindgren 7.12 Anton Rosen 6.69 Stevie Worrall 7.46 Lewis Rose 3.94 Simon Nielsen 3.36 42.35 0.15
-
Not many spaces left to begin now, and not being available on these nights - where does that leave!?!
-
I was a track staff member at Glasgow in 2013 and we were given overalls, gloves and a badge that was to be worn somewhere that could be easily seen at all times.
-
Just a suggestion! I ain't a Bandits fan, but they are the only club with four riders still to be named and I had a stab at proposing a team. What would your thoughts be on the remaining riders?!
-
How about something along these lines:- Ben Barker 8.91 Jake Allen 7 Steen Jensen 6.24 Anders Thomsen 5.68 Thomas Jorgensen 7.09 Simon Nielsen 3.36 Alex Edberg 3.84 42.12
