Glasgow vs Redcar 18/7/25
cheggie replied to LisaColette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Should be a cracking meeting, as the weather has to clear up and should be fairly warm. With RR, it means everyone can potentially cover Dan's rides and hopefully Tate goes well for us at no.4. Tate scored 7+1 from 5 rides at no.2 last year and I'd take more of the same tonight please. -
good shout, as he rode really well on Friday night!

Absolutely spot on prediction - well done. -
Villads Nagel replaces Ashton Boughen. Scored 6 pts in the SGP2 at Ashfield back in May, including a heat victory against Boughen before it was abandoned due to heavy rain.

Brilliant performance, wise choice of guests and a terrific result for the Tigers!! -
Read on the Glasgow Tigers Facebook earlier that there is currently a closed practice session taking place on track between 11am and 3pm, with no public access. Cracking day for it up here!!

From Glasgow FB pageβ¦. 1. Harris 2. Starke 3. Flint 4. Pearson 5. Worrall 6. Smith 7. Pijper Bit of rain in the forecast tonight and showers for some of tomorrow, but the sun should be out in time for Tapes up.
-
That's the thing, as mentioned plenty of times previously, who is available average wise to improve the team + what average would Jan come in on? I would guess maybe 7 or 7.5, which would suggest a triple change if true?
-
Ace Pijper confirmed as third Tigers signing on their FB page, in association with The Courtyard Pantry Enterprise.
-
For what it's worth, IMO, I don't mind the 'drip feeding' of our signings for next year. For me, I like the fact that maybe the Club's focus will be on the charities associated with each rider, that way they will get some attention for a period of time. Slightly different approach to other teams, but hey - we don't all want/need to be the same....
-
I am not sure at all regarding Connor, but is he not an asset of Glasgow and could be a solid second string on that average, given the reduction in pts limit, plus has had a season at Redcar under his belt now.
