Didn't all premiership teams name a number 8 a few seasons ago but that only lasted 1 season -

What is the point of heat 8 being a protected heat if the stronger reserve can be brought in if the RS gets injured. The stronger reserve should start from 15m to stop this being manipulated. -

How about Jake Allen for Thompson, he currently has a 6.85 championship average, don't know what the conversion rate is but we have up to 5.06 to use. Don't know number 6 riders don't get the 5% home increase. -

Shouldn’t be allowed to replace Boughen in a RS protected heat. This rule is open to manipulation. Maybe Kvech should go off 15m -

Then why aren't you going then Jason? KL should win the home leg and it's about how close Ipswich can keep it. There must be a better choice of guests than Simon Lambert out there, he is so out of form this season -

The track was no one near the one for the bank holiday meeting. The Blue groove in the above picture is minimal compared to what it was on bank holiday meeting and wasn't dusty last night. -

Makes me laugh on the official british speedway website it reported that this was one of the shocks of the season. If Leicester had beaten us at home with Ipswich at full strength then yes, I would agree. Leicester took advantage of us being depleted and full credit to them for that. -

Who knows what 2026 is going to be with Birmingham dropping out. Averages are done on rolling averages so do you really think they are keeping an eye on what score they are losing from this to lower their averages. No team goes out to lose. Congrats to Leicester last night, caught us at the right time and were better from the gate. Becker & Kemp obviously liked the new track as the best I've seen both ride at Foxhall. I think Dan T is a bigger miss than Doyle at the moment with the form he was in, and agree Tom needs to up his game. -

BIRMINGHAM v IPSWICH Mon 19th May PL2

Are Birmingham not allowed to show delayed streams of their meetings anymore when TNT have a televised meeting the same night. I noticed that they did this a few weeks ago, but didn't on Monday when Ipswich were in town. This is taking money away from the club and it's not as if TNT showed any heats from this meeting anyway so they should be able to delay the stream, another shot in the foot for speedway. -

At their last meeting they had a stream at 10pm after TNT had finished their coverage so didn't know if they were doing the same this time -

Both Ipswich & King's Lynn are filmed by Rerun Productions so a Dvd is available to buy, so Sheffield is the only club in the top flight to not have either as my original post stated -

It's a shame that people who can't make the meeting won't get a chance to watch it as Sheffield are the only top flight club to not live stream or have a dvd company film it. I raised the question to Clean Cut Sports who use to film there and say it only get filmed for media purposes. -

I sit right inline with the start line on the home straight and Klindt was definitely rolling when the tapes went up. The red lights came on when they were between bends one and two but were very hard to see, so the riders didn't stop until the end of the first lap. Couldn't see the Brennan one as too much dust, just thought he got taken wide, maybe the ref thought that too!!! There was one other with Dan T in heat 12, he had a nibble at the start but had come to a stop before tapes went up. Surprised to see it not stopped but as he was not moving when the tapes went up the ref let it go? Kvech was not happy and gestured to the ref. Thought KL use of Klindt wasn't the best as he run out of puff after 4 races, too many races too early. Can't see how Boughen is keeping his team place as he looks devoid of any confidence and couldn't even be bothered to finish any of his races, such a shame as he has the talent. The weather really affected the meeting today, especially the wind as never seen the track so bad on an afternoon meeting and the last few races being over 60 secs. -

Think you will find when they had heat 15 highest scorers race that programmed rides including bonus points counting to who could ride in that heat so if someone scored 7+4 and someone scored 10+0 the former was a higher scorer, the same as for the Billy Sanders memorial. So put a end to all this drivel as this was to remember a great man. -

Ipswich did put out their four top scorers as Thompson was tied fourth on 9 points with Jason & Emil. Chris Adams said that both Rew & Jeppesen were suffering from illness, so that explains why they didn't take part. The only one is why Jepsen Jensen didn't take part. -

Rew only got 4 and Hume got 3, so would've been a choice between Hume & Vuolas for the last spot. Dan T got 7+2 so 9 in total same as Doyle & Emil. It's a bit like when you used to have heat 15 being the top scorers race, programmed rides with bonus points counted so someone like Dan T could be chosen as he scored the same.
