I actually think Brandon Estates are the good guys in this. I think they would like speedway to continue at Brandon, but would prefer a different promoter given the recent debacle. I think they have lost confidence in Horton and are very unhappy that the stadium was trashed by you know who.
-
I work in finance and the principal purpose of registering a company in Jersey is to hide the directors and owners from the public, end off.
-
The vast majority of Coventry fans will not travel to Leicester anyone who thinks so including the promoters or the BSPA are sadly mistaken.
-
The situation seems to get stranger by the hour. Now Brandon Estates appear to be briefing against Horton. Why would an offshore registered company that wants to keep its business secret, decide it is going to sponsor a speedway team for no commercial advantage whatsoever. Very very odd. One minute the stadium has been trashed without their consent and the next Horton wont sign a lease, all very fishy!

Could the Bees race Sunday afternoons? Would not need floodlights then. Be a problem for Bjerre I guess.
-
Blimey wasn't you that started this rumor with your reliable source! Sounds more like curry sauce.
-
Just been down to Greggs and ordered a very large humble pie. So that if reliable sources turn out to be unreliable there will be plenty to go around.

Thanks for all your helpful input.

Oh well at least you can say you went in 2017

Most commercial land sales will include an uplift in the sale value based on the development of the site for housing. So highly likely Sandhu would receive a considerable additional sum once planning approved.
-
How can it be that an English rider like Sarj cannot get a place in the Championship. Something wrong somewhere.
-
Pretty sure the main purpose of registering a company in Jersey is so that the Directors can be kept anonymous. Surprise, surprise.
-
Who has the most to gain by the Bees not running again. Brandon Estates and Sandhu?
-
Why, in case someone breaks in and try's to put the shale and lights back!
-
All media statements removed and references to 2017 team disappeared from the Bees website. Is that game set and match?
-
You couldn't make this up. An former owner trashes the stadium to ensure racing of any form is no longer possible. A stadium and the land deliberately placed in an offshore company so that the directors and owners are hidden from public view. Rugby council should kick them all in to touch and make it clear to all concerned that housing permission will never be granted.
-
I think you summed up the position perfectly. One thing is for sure when land is sold for potential development, it is very common that a large proportion of the sale value is only received once planning permission is granted. Could this be the reason that councilor Stokes has some sway over various participants in the dispute?

Most In-demand Riders For The 2017 Season
nbaynes replied to poolebolton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Will Harris ride in the championship, Nichols as well? Dwindling or no overseas clubs they need to double up. -
Spot on. Best racing I saw last season was at Somerset.
-
Somerset will be Elite and Bomber will be first signing.
-
Build a new staduim very similar to Somerset and join the Prem. Racing is awesome and fans close to the action.
-
I don't expect anything, just asking if its a possibility.
-
Great piece of business by Poole. However any chance Lindback will get a ban for refusing to ride for his Swedish club the other night?

Cracks have been appearing in his form for a couple of weeks now. Didnt look quick at home against Poole.
