  1. Also interested if you could elaborate on this sentence.
  2. I agree partly what you say. We do miss Benji as he will get better scores away from Home in the Heat leaders position. I have always said Mason does not do enough away from Home. Cradley, storm,Mildenhall and stoke are stronger than Kent at the moment and it is obvious where Kent need to improve. I have no doubt in my mind a full strength Storm would have won last nights meeting.
  3. I now read that Oliver Greenwood is also missing (injured) for Storm. This meeting has now become a farce. With 4 out of Coventry`s top 5 missing,is that enough for the meeting to be called off ? Just wondered is there any rule about this.
  4. Do not know if I will go tonight as the weather is iffy and the "Storm" team has been decimated with injuries/unavailable. Had the look of a good close meeting - Kings should win comfortably now with Coventry`s problems.
  5. I said a while back that Kings are a million miles away from having a team good enough to challenge/win the League. Yesterdays events just go some way to prove that. It was a weakened Mildenhall team that Kings were not able to capitalise on. You cannot win meetings (or get a point) with a TWO man team - Kings were yesterday. Luke/Magic do not do enough away from Home - Desperately need Compton back. Rookie reserves no match to big hitting reserves of some teams. Losing Morley/Lambert for some meetings does not help. p.s. Is that the same Connor Coles that rode for Kent last season. He must like Mildenhall because he showed little form last season ?
  6. Cannot see much joy for Kent.Should hopefully be much better than the Cradley humiliation but Mildenhall are strong at Home and as Waco says Kent have two rookies at reserve plus Luke and Magic both struggle away from home. Safe meeting all riders.
  7. Well said and exactly how I see the situation.Watching Aaron on Monday,he looks a proper Speedway rider and should improve from last season.
  8. Glad to see Baseby at Kings. Be interesting what happens when Compton is fit.
  9. That was the biggest disappointment last night, not able to win ONE Heat. Also according to Updates, our riders were getting beaten by a long way in some Heats. We all expected a defeat but that was a humiliation.
  10. As a stand alone Club Kent`s ambition this season was a compete and go for the League (according to Management). I am afraid they are a million miles away from that at the moment. Thrashed at Cradley,Coventry and Leicester.
  11. Three things about todays meeting. 1) Raining from the time we got there - So well done to ALL riders and Officials for getting through the meeting. 2) Danny Ayres is looking better each meeting. 3) What a shame Aaron Baseby does not have a Club.
  12. I am still here. You know what you can do with FB & Twits.
  13. Cannot believe it is 2 years. Always in our thoughts. RIP Rico.
  14. Well said. An e-mail response about the problems Monday is the least he should do.IMHO
  15. I cannot understand why GB have no team in the `World Pairs` ? All the top countries are In it,sponsored and shown on British Eurosport. Really poor show and undersight by the GB authorities. IMHO.
  16. Although in the report in the SS it says there was a "bumper" crowd v K.Lynn,I thought the crowd was disappointing, as v Mildenhall. Just my opinion.
  17. Two more things from your post. You say I am all bitter and twisted - get involved - Last year I sponsored 2 riders - Is that all right for you ? And on Monday I met a friend there that sometimes goes to Eastbourne with his wife. She went to Central Park for the first time Monday - She said she will never go again !!
  18. Go get a life. Things that went on in the meeting Monday were a disgrace and does Speedway and Kent no favours. If I see things go on I do not like I will say so and if you do not like it,tough. Leaving a rider by the track because a ambulance would/could not get on track is just not on. I was near the pits and it just seemed chaotic and more than once the water carrier went out on track and the riders were trying to stop this. There seemed little organisation and it was little wonder the meeting dragged on.
  19. Good meeting in the rain in Sweden !!! 2 things from the meeting: 1) Great to see a meeting without the joke of double points. 2) Commentator : Who is Nicki Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeedersen ???
  20. Just seen this is on British Eurosport.Should be very interesting and hopefully entertaining Speedway.
  21. You should ask why people left early - BECAUSE THE MEETING TURNED INTO A FARCE. Fans would rather go to Elite meetings as they are much better run. I would much prefer to go to my local team (Kings) and would not have thought about not going last year, but after yesterdays DISGRACE I am seriously thinking about NOT going next Monday. AT THE END OF THE DAY KENT SPEEDWAY WILL BE THE LOSERS.
