Was you at the meeting ? After 2 hours and only at Heat 11 - we had enough - AND OTHERS WERE LEAVING AS WELL. You could be right about Elite - as most are run much better than today. I will say again - Meetings like today will drive people away.

How did Kent win that farce of a meeting ? We left before the re-run of Heat 11. If ever a meeting was a advert for driving away what few fans are left - this was it. I know you get spills etc in this League - but this was something else. Riders were having trouble just staying on the bike to get a point etc. We was near the pits and it seemed just chaos - nobody seemed to know what was going on. It is bad enough with both teams having R/R - but this was just ridiculous !!!!! Very poor advert for Speedway.

I know Simon has a busy calendar but that is pushing it ?

Simon Lambert is down to ride for Brum tomorrow. NOTHING ON THE KINGS WEBSITE? ABOUT TIME SOMEBODY GOT THEIR FINGER OUT TO LET FANS KNOW WHO RIDES AND WHO DOES NOT.

Will the Kings have Morley and Lambert riding,as both Lakeside and Birmingham are in action? They had better be riding as Kent are running out of riders after yesterday.

I would expect and hope for a much better performance from the Kings than last night at Coventry.Chessell will have an opportunity to show better form than he has so far.

Agree that Cradley and Storm are ahead of others at the moment.Kent would not beat either over 2 legs and I think they will need a couple of changes long term to have a chance in end of season play-offs. Bryn, do you know if the Club are doing/done anything about the sound system. We could NOT hear you last meeting and it is something that is/becoming a big problem.

I agree,was disappointed with state of track. Hope it is sorted soon as the riders deserve better.

A decent meeting which I thought Kings made hard work of.Morley/Lambert solid,Mason/Compton showed they will get good points.Freemantle did well after his terrible crashes.Chessell was disappointing.But must say young Harris looked good - small but real determination. A decent crowd - but smaller than I hoped for. For Stars - Mallet/cockle were solid - Wilson a good guest.Watching Kirby last season and today he worries me that he does hit the deck a lot.

Just thought I would start this,Kings first Home meeting of year. Hope the weather is kind and good crowd turns up.

Not really surprising.Will we see young Luke Harris come into the team ?

Just shows how strong Cradley are this season.Will take all the beating and stopping for League Honours again.IMHO.

Agree with what you say.Does seem strange they could put a team together - of other teams riders? They are DEFO hoping to win the NT. Kings were disappointing,and seemed a 2 man team (Lambert/Morley) last night. You could be right about Blake and I can see young Harris maybe coming into the team in the future. Also the Kings have FIVE away competitive fixtures before their 1st Home competetive meeting,which is tough.

Did not see the Grand Prix live,just watched a recording. That Final - wow - Well done Smolinski - WHAT A RIDE.

You are correct in what you say. Last season the "Kings" started with a weakfish team and were losing nearly all the time.As a new Cub/team the supporters stuck with them and things improved as the season went on (due to the odd team change/riding Home track better).I know it is up to the Scunthorpe Management what team/riders they want to put out - BUT IT IS VERY WORRYING WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN AWAY FIXTURES.Will you be giving supporters at these meetings value for money ? As it is I think not.
