I know Tom Young has been resting from Speedway,but for fun how about; Boxall 8.84 - Young 7.04 - Compton 6.28 - Knight 5.93 - Morley 5.80 - Kingston 3.00 - Kirby 3.00. Total 39.89. As I said just for fun,but nice top order. - -

I agree about Jake Knight.I want the Club to sign YOUNG riders who have potential and have something to prove.I said this last night and will say again here - Bringing Dave Mason back into the team would be a backward step.He had some laps last night so we can all make conclusions. He had just started as Coach/advisor and that would be great. -

Yes good shout.Believe his NL average is 5.93.If he shows his Premier League form could be real team improver for the Kings. -
Talk about gift Buxton 3 points.
-
Yes,no Benji.I thought when you had/have concussion, you were not allowed to ride for a certain time? So no surprise he is missing. Boxall touches tapes in Heat 1.Oh dear it is going to be a long afternoon for the Kings.
-
Nice try,it was 54-39.The result in the OS fixtures is wrong.
-
Steve will be in the Premier League next year,no doubt. After rekindling his interest in Speedway,it would be nice if he stayed with Kent on the journey up?
-
If the curfew was extened to 9pm and then we could start meetings at 7pm,I would like to see Premier Speedway.1}We would have a chance of keeping Boxall.2}I think crowds would increase.IMHO.
-
Steve Boxall at Central Park on Monday.57.9 lowered to 57.7 in Heat 1.And then 57.5 in Heat 6.
-
Kent are consistent having lost 63-31 in the National Trophy. Just two things to say - Hope Benji is OK and back soon, and well done Steve - Class.
-
Just thought I would start a thread. And yes anything but a win for the Island would be a major shock.
-
All I said was it was not poor. From Steve`s(Boxall)programme notes he has been helping with the track. They put on 20 tonnes last week and it will take time to bed in and we all know there is still a lot of work to be done.
-
Its about time they did.
-
Poor track? How can a rider do TWO track records on a poor track. And on a poor track, surely riders would be falling off/having trouble etc/did not see Boxall or Mildenhall riders having much trouble. The real problems for Kent was that Morley/Compton had off nights.Coles/Woods cannot perform well enough in main body of team.Kirby seems to have gone backwards for some reason, but Kingston showed what he can do in Heat 8-beating Baseby and performed well after his injury. And I thought the crowd stuck with the team and are very enthusiastic.
-
Well last time it was 42-48.Brandford was Guest and scored 10 points.Baseby,Bates,Armstrong and Halsey will all score well.Boxall is on fire and Compton,Morley will also score well. The big question is will Kent,s lower order score enough to give Kent first ever competitive victory?Got the look of a close meeting.

Sorry do not agree about Heat 15 as IOW in white did move but penalised himself by missing break,so was a good decision as far a I am concerned.Wish they would go back to days when you could move as long a you do not touch tapes, far more interesting than all this do not move a muscle. -

Not quite biggest thrashing ! Team order was swopped round so Sam found it hard at 3.Adam stayed on bike all night.Steve was class all night and now is holder of Bronze Helmet.Another decent crowd and to be honest are knowledgeable and supportive of the team despite results.Shows how team has improved since first meeting with IOW last month.Yes track was very slick and does still need work, but is a lot smoother now.Well done IOW for the win and with Ellis at reserve (like KL with Lambert)that can make all the difference. -
