Bore off.
-
Hope the showers miss Central Park this week. Unlike last Monday.
-
For all the rights and wrongs of this move, let me just say ....................................... Welcome Benji and lets hope you pile up the points for the Kings.
-
Very poorly handled,the whole thing.
-
Wonder what average Compton has come in on.Think is average 2010/2011 was 6.28.
-
Have to see reason/s,but seems strange when the weakness in team is lower order.
-
Rumour from where?
-
Blimey what would the Eagles give to get half that sort of crowd each Saturday. Talking of Kent Kings I estimated the crowd was nearer 4,000,but certainly 3,500+.As said already around 1,000 last night and with another Bank Holiday in two weeks against Mildenhall, hopefully a crowd of 2,000+is not out of the question.

Went last night and despite the score really enjoyed it.Lets just get this into perspective - New Venture - New Team - New Track - Finding our feet.We all know that the IOW team is strong for this League - yes?Only the second meeting on the track (thought it rode a lot better last night, but still a way to go ).For the Kent riders it is still like riding a away track, but things will improve in time.Boxall class rider, but having little luck with ONLY bike.Morley looks really good,a real battler.Mason, good enough to win races, but at his age he knows his limits on track.Kirby improving all the time (a real battling 2nd in Heat 7).Woods,really hard at moment being in main body of team - his Heats = Boxall/Perry-Boxall/Young/Ellis - Boxall/Hopwood.Kingston,great gater- just needs to see his races out (hope he is OK after last night).Coles, yes he is struggling with pace and again very hard in main body.Crowd last night we thought was around 1,000,so not bad at all. Also have to say listening to fans they seem to know it will take time for the team to get going.

Meeting OFF.Shame as Kent could of done with some laps before tomorrows meeting.
-
Looking forward to first competitive meeting.IOW will be tough test, but more meetings the lads have the better.Weather forecast looks kind.Be interesting how many turn up for 1st - 6.30 start.
-
Do you know you are getting very boring.

I went Monday and there was a good number there.Met Neil who is a great bloke, was very imformative and his enthusiasm for the Club really showed. Also there seemed to be a real team spirit amongst the riders,so that counts for a lot.

HereBarry Thomas, Malcolm Simmons, Dave Jessup, Laurie Etheridge, Barney Kennett, Les Rumsey, Ted Hubbard, Paul Hurry, Paul Woods , Steve Naylor, Dave Piddock, Graham Clifton, Frank Wendon, Alan Johns, Les Rumsey and Bobby McNeill More details on the Kent Kings Website.

Thought IOW looked good on paper.Great win - very impressive.
-
But if not Lambert, why the wait ?Len Silver was quoted a while back that if this Kent team could not win any silverware he would eat his hat.How would the riders named so far - and no Lambert - compare to other teams ?Anyway my latest prediction is that rider 7 will be named Monday at fans forum.
-
Really cannot understand all this delay.
-
Cheers for prompt reply.
-
Neil, can I just ask a couple of things through this forum. 1)When will merchandise be available. 2) When will rider 7 be named?
-
Neil, this is my opinion but the namimg of the last rider has gone on a bit too long. And if it is not a certain rider,I for one will be very disappointed.
-
And me,just the timing was not what we expected.
